Your being lied to about young earth creation. The Bible is the infallible word of God but our translation is not. We don’t have a perfect understanding of the dead language of the ancient Hebrew used in gen. The word earth in Gen has there different interpretations that completely change the scope of everything. The word day, year is not clearly defined as it is today. Also we are not sure of the genre of the book of genesis, which makes a huge difference. Don’t waste your time worrying about this stuff, the dirty secret is if evolution is true, genesis is no less right then if it’s not. It’s a matter of translation.
Ikr, right? I mean, they told us snakes couldn't talk, but God's word says they can! And they said people couldn't live to over 900 years old, but God's word tells us they can! HALLELUJAH!!!
Hence Evolution is dishonest, because whenever evidence comes up that would suggest millions of years is wrong, such as soft tissue and Carbon-14 in dinosaur bones, or rapid canyon-like erosion and fossilization after the Mount St. Helens eruption, they will incorporate it into their millions of years worldview rather than admit that millions of years is wrong and the earth is young.
@@wichitadisciple9874 Indeed. And in science the interpretation is presented to everybody using evidence and logic, so anyone can evaluate it for themselves. That's how science works. That's why it is self-correcting.
@jockyoung4491 Evolution is science..? Are you a scientist? No. So you believe what SOMEONE ELSE said, ablut a subject you know nothing about, and trust an author that says he was there? Before I married my dear Wife I dated a micro biologist who was renowned in her field. She was Christian and one day I asked what her view was as a scientist of evolution. I was a lowly man who earned a living carrying a rifle so I would love to hear from someone with more education then my self on this topic. She was very wise and advised that just because I was a soldier it doesn’t mean I’m dumb. Just I didn’t have her opportunities. Her answer on evolution was simple and smart. The basis of evolution is one species turns into another. It started as single called organisms supposedly. In all her years of looking through a microscope she has never witnessed this and neither has any other microbiologist.
The E. Coli long term evolution experiment has been running at the University of California for 35 years. With this experiment, researchers have been able to watch evolution happen in real time. So either your ex was really ignorant or she was just trying to save your feelings.
@@RePlayQ she was a lead micro biologist at the George Mason Repository, she knows her stuff. Since then I earn my two medical science degrees. The experiment you mention actually proves my point and you don’t realize it. They have over 75 thousand generations and they are still E Coli! Mutations are not evolution. For evolution to occur they would have to turn into something other then E Coli. All they have done is breed a more resilient form of the same bacteria. When they have have them become another organism or a multi-cell organism then they will prove evolution, I do not believe they will succeed.
@@RePlayQyou actually proved my point and didn’t know it. They have over 75k generations of E Coli involved with this experiment. However it’s still E Coli. It has mutated and become more resilient but it’s still E Coli. There experiment has not had any evolution at all. In order to prove evolution the E Coli would have to turn into something else. For instance become a protozoan or better yet a multi celled organism. As for that young lady she was a lead micro biologist at the George Mason Repository.
Well, in museums... there are human fossils, just look it up. Primarily skulls, teeth and fingers, but there are also some complete fossilized skeletons.
They made artist Renditions of elephants hippos and cats just based off the skeleton and it is nothing like what the animals really look like. So the way we picture dinosaurs today is probably nothing like what they really look like. Except for the ones that are completely preserved even the skin like that armored dinosaur found not too long ago
Could you be more specific? All artist renditions of elephants, hippos, and cats that I know come from "All Yesterdays." We're definitely off with the soft tissue and color, but the scientific research that goes into the reconstruction of the more popular dinosaurs basically makes it impossible for us to be far off. We have the weight, muscle, texture, and shape right, all that we're missing is color and body fat.
@crappyanimations9992 ok and your evidence is? Can you be more specific since you said "we" I'm assuming you have personally pieced together an extinct animal no one has ever seen before based solely on incomplete fossil fragments.
Yes, I wonder too about brain capacity of such large monster carnivors. Did they speak a language? What kind of complex social structure? The whales do and so do elephants. We have even been able to identify some of their animal sound languages. I even once taught my dog to vocalize a few human words like say "I love you" so did Alexander Grahm Bell. The Bible describes such reptilian dragon beings as powerfull, intelligent and destructive to man. I trust the Bible account near there in time than any farthest away in modernity. It's the old Chinese whispers in play.
Yes, we figured that out 20 years ago, just look at paleo art for 5 seconds and you’ll see how artists have been taking liberties and imagining the creatures based more on other animals and less on their skeleton alone for years now
@@toldyouso5588 They didn't have complex enough vocal systems to speak. They could probably communicate the same way most modern animals do. Sauropods, hadrosaurs, some theropods, and more likely had complex-ish social groups. And finally, the more intelligent dinosaurs (mostly theropods) might of had simple languages (dolphins and bees), but most likely not. All of your questions have answers, and evidence to back them up. You don't have to just make guesses based on a story book 😭

@@RealHooksy It was in English and made perfect sense. If you have the religion of science theories, then your mind has a problem with evidence that disagrees with the theories. You have the "big bang" theory and the theory of evolution. Both theories have huge holes in them. Darwin himself said that if anything in life was ever shown to have been impossible to develop in a gradual way over time, then his theory of evolution would be proved to be false. We have that. There are single cell creatures that have tiny motors and propellers for movement. That is called irreducible complexity. There is no way for that system to evolve from something else. The "big bang" theory says that in the beginning, there was all the matter and energy of the universe compressed into a tiny ball, and then boom. There is no explanation of how the matter and energy was created, or where the space came from, or why it chose a particular moment to explode, or why it exploded at just the right force to create our current universe with the current physical constants.
I want you to use a Pythagorean numerology calculator, type in: Darwin, then Big Bang...do you "see?" An NFL extra point is exactly 33 yards, NFL founder Walter Camp #322 Skull & Bones, get it now?

Our family works in medical science, we have enjoyed going to the Ark Encounter and creation Museum in Northern Kentucky. It’s worth a three day trip. So many scientists don’t believe the theories that evolutionists make their beliefs. If you have questions, take it seriously and spend 3 days actually checking out what scientist and historians have to say where they don’t deny written history or the evidence yet it’s still points to scripture being completely accurate. I personally know a little bit of Hebrew (and Latin but that’s not relevant) but it’s the Holy Spirit when you read scripture that helps you understand, but if there ever is a point where you are having a hard time, going to the Hebrew makes it so much clearer and not as cartoonish sounding. For example, yes Scripture says Eve was taken from Adam, the actual word used is a word that’s translated two ways one is rib one as side. Most people agree that we should use the word rib, but if when you read scripture The Lord might enlighten you in an understanding through humility that is only proven the more you know with things like history, language, and science. There are people that believe Noah only had two of each animal on the ark, that’s because people don’t read scripture for themself, they look at artistic interpretation created for children and that’s where they get their understanding of God instead of actually going to God and Dead Sea Scrolls proven ancient writings that have not been tampered with.
If you’re looking to read scripture English standard version is a literal translation that’s easy enough to read. I would actually encourage people to start reading scripture with Isaiah 53, followed up by John 1-3, Romans 1-3, and then Genesis 1-3. It would take half an hour. But you have to do it humbly as fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, the creator of the universe who holds our life in his hands needs to be taken seriously.

I am not trying to troll or anything. I have been really getting into Gods word this year. But my understanding of how dinosaurs are dated are based on the sediment level that fossils are found or using radioactive decay.
Not totally sure, but if fossilization is caused be minerals replacing bones, shells, etc., then the minerals containing carbon C-14, or whatever, has already been decaying before it came into contact with animal remains. So the decaying carbon they measure in order to date things is considerably older than the bones it replaces.

I guess what’s tough for me is aligning the Bible and dinosaurs, which is why I came to this video.
I have often wondered if there is a connection between the week of creation - including the 7th day of rest, and a circle. All of the 7 days were the same length. If you take 7 circles all the same size and put 1 in the center, then put the other 6 all around the center circle - they all touch together perfectly with no gaps. It doesn't matter the size of the circles as long as they are all the same size. Thanks for pointing out the distinction that a fossil tells us about the PRESENT!❤
I have contemplated the geometry before looking down the chamber of an old colt revolver, exactly 6 round cylinders and space for a 7th at the center. I never thought of the Sabath connection until you brought it up.

Hunting was also a major reason the dinosaurs went extinct. Think about any story of knights in the Middle Ages, what’s the most likely thing they’re going out to slay: dragons. As you said, the word dinosaur wasn’t coined until the 1840s; before that, they were called dragons (which the Bible also mentions). Any large predator that could be a threat to a populated area is hunted away, and I believe the dinosaurs were partly wiped out due to simple human population growth (and there are likely still some very remote areas with the right environment that they still exist).
I’m a Christian but what I don’t understand is how dinosaurs could be any less than 50,000 years old when there is no carbon 14 left to decay on them, and carbon 14 fully decays after 50,000 years. Can someone explain?
That is my question: how can they say that something is millions of years old when there would be no more carbon-14 left to take a sample of way earlier than that. I also heard that C-14 is fully used up after 10,000 years. You said it lasts longer so I'll have to look it up. Some of the dinosaur fossils also still have bone marrow left so that would indicate it being much younger than hypothesized.

As someone who has taken the old earth view because it's just what I've been taught, how do young earth creationists explain how we can see light from stars millions of light-years away? (It would have taken millions of years to get here) How do young earth creationists counter tree ring dating (which I've been told goes back at least 10,000 years)?
My interpretation is that there's a separation in the periods if time between the first verse, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" and the second verse. It could very well be that God spent millions of years in heaven (in which time Lucifer fell) before He created the land and life on earth. As for tree rings, it could be that it was much easier for plants to grow in the time of Eden, either because of the mists that used to water the plants of the earth in Genesis 2:6 or because of 3:17 in which the ground was cursed and Adam cursed to eat bread by the sweat of his brow. Probably both. I hope this gave you something to think about, and I hope you have a blessed day :)
To quote the Bible; "God stretched out the heavens". It suggests a huge manipulation of space (and time). What would now logically take millions of years for the light to travel, is AFTER that stretching, a feature of it. In any case, don't make the mistake of expecting to understand everything about God's creation - the ACT of creation of the universe is logically NOT bound by the rules of the created universe. The Bible IS clear with it's genealogical record, that the Earth is now close to 7,000 years old. That's a VERY long time. It's ludicrous to suggest that bones and fossils could last for millions let alone billions of years. Additionally, DNA research is now also showing similar time spans since the first man and woman. God does do things with patterns, and the number seven is very often seen in the old testament (his festivals for the Jewish people, etc). It would be typical of him (I humbly suggest), for the Earth's total life span to be 7,000 years in total. Right now we are at the beginning of the end times as foretold in the book of Revelation.
Please read any modern scientific explanation about evolution and you will see that he is totally misrepresenting how evolution really works. . he is totally misrepresenting and he is doing so knowingly.
This makes complete sense up to a point, but what confuses me is if all dinosaurs became extinct AFTER the Ark what did happen to them? If it was a meteor how did humans and all other animals survive? I might well be asking a stupid question and have missed something obvious but if someone could give me an answer that would be great. I’m Christian youth leader, I’m genuinely after a helpful response.
There's a brass carving of two sauropod dinosaurs on Richard Bell's tomb in Carlisle Cathedral, completed in 1496, and a stone carving of a Stegosaurus in Ta Prohm temple in Cambodia, completed circa 1200, so some dinosaurs had to have lived with humans as late as 530 years ago, but they became extinct due to climate change erasing their swamps, and humans may have also killed them due to being perceived as a threat, or for sport, which is the same reason so many other animals have gone extinct recently.
Because the meteor never did happen 65 million years ago. We as Christian already debunked against evolution. They don't want to accept to truth in the Bible as if the scientist and archeologist tells the kids here's what really happened the book of evolution in class. It's all lies, trying to deceived them all. God is real and so the Bible. 🇨🇦🇵🇭🙏
There are many unanswered questions believing Gen 1:1 happened 6000 years ago. The theory that all continents used to be one earth mass yet tectonic plates drift 1.5cm per year. Many geographical questions cannot be answered within a time span of 6000 years.
This guy lost me when he stated Genesis is referring to 7 distinct 24 hour periods of time. As a Christian that has studied this I believe he is taking Genesis 1 out of context. Based on what I have read from Bible beliving linguists, the Hebrew word that is translated to the word day can also mean age or era. This dos not mean the Bible is wrong, it just means human understanding is incorrect. The first chapter of Genesis is written in a poetic form and is an answer to a question. People often apply this answer to the wrong question. Today people are applying Genesis 1 to the question; how old is the earth? Genesis 1 is answering the question of; Who created the earth? At the time the book of Genesis was written, nobody cared how old the world was. The age of earth was irrelevant. I would argue that the age of the planet and the universe is still irrelevant. How old all of creation is has no affect on my life spiritually or professionally as a geotechnical engineer. Genesis 1 simply makes the statement that God is the Creator and God created life. The amount of time does not change this statement. No person past or present except for God can or could create the universe. Furthermore, since God is the creator it is reasonable to state God also created time and as the Creator, He is not subject to the creation or its laws.
Thank you for your point. I totally agree. With God everything is possible, both an earth that’s 4.5 Billion years old or that’s only 6000 to 10‘000 years old. But when I stand at the rim of the Grand Canyon I rather get the impression of an old earth. Jesus one day will tell me the exact age of it. And I’m thrilled at that.
The phrase "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" is a reminder that the lack of evidence supporting a hypothesis does not necessarily invalidate it.

One factor I don't think I've ever heard of in conversations on this topic is the connection to dragons and their relationship to post diluvian societies. Every story of a dragon includes a dragon slayer. Could it be that looking dinosaurs became just as much a matter of survival as it was a coming of age for young men? Look at how quickly big game animals today are being driven to extinction, and that's with a counter push to conserve the populations. I doubt there was a prehistoric PETA.

So in the fossil record where it shows i.e. the head plate of a Triceratops with the teeth marks of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, that happened post flood.
Why should we infer “ordinary 24 hour” as the standard or reference period for what the Bible means as a “day” in this text?? If Earth was created before the Sun and we know we derive our current definition of a day from Earth’s rotation in reference to the Sun and our definition of year is based on the time required to orbit the Sun, why is it assumed that 24 hours would be the standard definition of a day before the Sun even existed??
Grass, herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind, were created in day 3. Green plants and trees could not survive longer than a day without the sun, which was appointed on the 4th day.

"what do scriptures have to do with evolution?" Nothing which is why as Christians should reject it because not only does it not coincide with scripture but it contradicts it.
I have personally visited with a creation research scientist of several phds who says that dinosaurs will return during the millennial age. That the genetic matter for them to be recreated exist at present. He is even been on expeditions to Indonesia to look for clues.
I don't blame him for thinking like this, evolution is not properly taught through high school in my opinion so misconceptions are abundant. But just watching the first 3 minutes I have some notes. Individuals don't change, populations do. Species change on a gradient over really big stretches of time, so saying a dinosaur will always produce something that looks like itself is true! But if that offspring has a mutation that gives it any sort of edge, it's more likely to live to reproductive age and spread that mutation, which then becomes prevalent, and it happens again. That's why we can see so many similarities between the different lineages, because they came from the same ancestor. When he describes one ancestor splitting into like 7 lineages, that's an example of allopatric speciation, where populations are geographically secluded from one another and are able to evolve independently.
@christinejoseph3366 yeah I mean when you look at eukaryotes, imagine a series of very small changes over millions of years in response to the needs of the changing environment or needing to match competition, and eventually, that organism doesn't look like it used to and it's genetically dissimilar enough that it can no longer reproduce with what it once was (if that organism is still around). This isn't just speculation either, we do have really good transition fossils that show a gradient of change over time, and we find them in the geographic locations, and at the stratic level we expect to. It's hard to imagine this stuff on human timescales because it takes a reaaaally long time for such pronounced changes to occur, but we can see mechanisms of evolution occurring over human timescales. In regards to single to multi cellular life, there have been studies conducted that expose single cellular (algae I think?) organisms to a certain environmental pressure, and they began forming clusters that reproduced more clusters as opposed to single cells, something that could definitely be the start of single to multi cellular life. You can look at endosymbiosis, too, the theory that mitochondria and chloroplasts were once their own cells that got engulfed by another cell and they formed a symbiosis, which has really good support, seeing that mitochondria and choloroplasts are the only organelles that have their own independent genome, separate from nucleic DNA. Sorry for the wordy response but I wanted to answer your question as thoroughly as possible and I'm very passionate about this stuff
@@bennyb7067 I do believe in the mechanisms that allow for a certain amount of change within a kind. But from goo to you? Nope. You still have the very difficult problem of where the goo came from, who designed it, why were conditions right for any life to be sustained. And mutations almost everytime time cause demise. We see it now. You'll have me believe at some point a multicell simple creature happened to evolve a heart like organ and a lung type organ at the same time? And those mutations were somehow beneficial enough the organism survived to pass those on and then got lucky enough to have more beneficial mutations so that we have beautiful organisms with such complexity? Your way of thinking takes way more faith than mine does. And it's no wonder everytime I turn around science is adding more years to this theory.
@TheHeggert actually most mutations are neutral, then deleterious, then beneficial. There's no "goo" it's not like all this happened at once. The leading hypothesis for abiogenetis is RNA world hypothesis which involves ribozymes being the first macromolecule that could initiate this process, as they can self catalyze, and they're self replicating. (This is something they've confirmed is possible in the lab). As for the organ thing, I think you're getting hung up on the idea of basic allllll the way to super complex life at once. The most basal animals don't have organs (sponge), flatworms don't even have a circulatory system, though they're capable of locomotion. These things arose in very basic simple ways and complexity was added slowly though billions of years. Fish don't have lungs but they do have a heart, then you look at more derived fish like the coelacanth that have partially functional lungs and still a fully functional heart. My point is most that everything didn't happen at once. Some organisms don't need a heart and some don't need to breathe.
Its all a diversion. What the man is teaching is nonsense and has zero to do with Christ's gospel. Its ok to be a Christian and accept basic tenets of evolution. Its also ok to not have to defend evolution. Evolution is a theory in progress, so trying to defend it against guys like this won't prove too successful, it is a working theory so naturally easy to attack it. The point is its all irrelevant. The Bible doesn't say the earth is 6000 years old. Guys like this do. The Bible doesn't. They are preaching divisive doctrines which ultimately drive more people away from Christ than they will ever lead to him. Its ok to believe in God and evolution. The Bible says God created our bodies, it doesn't say HOW He did it.
To be fair about the magnetic shift, that would cause tectonic shift and unmatched destruction, not because it would affect the animals directly, but that's probably what happened during the flood to produce the modern landscape.

One day, all the atoms of all the stars and planets will break down to lower and lower forms of energy. Read and learn before you ask foolish questions.
Life reproduces. Why would death be evolved out of the equation? I'm trying to be kind, but this is not an intelligent question. I'm sure that anyone suffering from a bad back is wondering when we will evolve enough to overcome that, because back problems are a result of our skeletons being better suited to a quadraped than a biped. An engineer designing the human frame would put some sort of support in for our lower back, while still maintaining movement. Unfortunately, we weren't designed, but are a product of evolution and still slowly changing.
@@93Current not an intelligent question, how so? Doesn't all life want to keep on living? By your response, so assuming you have children, you want die now, because you reproduced? I think your just like all the other atheists, in your remark of trying to "be kind" in this response, you have no answer to a very good question, as to why hasn't life that is "billions of years old" evolved to live for ever? So go ahead start the name calling, tell me how stupid I am because I'm closed minded, and believe in a fairy tail guy that lives in the sky. But after that give me an answer, as I tell my apprentices in my trade that I have to teach them, there is no such thing as a bad question.
@@dustinwilson627 Just as an addendum, how would you answer the paradox that your own question poses? If humans have evolved so that we don't die, then not only will we not age but we will be impermeable to all diseases. If a pathogen were also to evolve so that it could live forever, then if it were to infect a person it would be impermeable to the cellular defence mechanisms of that person, ie the antibodies etc, and also any medication so that if we say a covid virus it would invade the body and kill that person. However, if the person had also evolved to be able to defeat any virus, how could the virus not be killed? It is an impossible paradox when certain forms of life feed off another. It is a little like the question that asks if God has no limitations can he create a rock that is so heavy he can't move it, and if he can't why not?
@@93Current "back problems are a result of our skeletons being better suited to a quadraped than a biped" Oh no. That's pure supposition, not science. Actually most back problems are a result of the damaging mass produced and low nutrient western diet.
The dinosaurs were on the ark. It's been proven. There was an ice age also and it's very possible they died off then. Extinction is not new we see it all the time.
The Dodo bird was driven to extinction by human beings, as was almost, the Buffalo. It's not beyond the possibilty that Dragons (Dinosaurs) were completely driven to extinction by humans as well.
There is no archaeological or physical evidence of a historical Jesus. If you want to believe the bible is true and are facts, then you have to believe these men that wrote the bible are infallible. Because something is written in a book doesn't mean it's true, unless you want to believe it's true. Although most scholars believe a man named Jesus did exist. There is no absolute or definitive evidence only what you want to believe.
Again with this! I absolutely love that he is pointing out the truth of Gods word and preaching that we MUST base our worldview from the scriptures, Gods Word. And Genesis is the bedrock of a biblical worldview. But there is not a single time in Genesis, or anywhere else in the Bible, does it mention SPACE! I mean if we are going to preach about not allowing secular, antichrist based worldviews to pervert and corrupt our biblical worldviews, then we must be consistant and strict about it. Or else were getting nowhere by continuing to twist and add to Gods Word. With that said, I still love the video and what he stands for. God bless him.
As a Christian, I've so many questions that no one answers. Why don't we see mention of cave men and neanderthals in your videos? If mankind coexisted with dinosaurs, why don't we see both dinosaur and mankind fossils together in one strata layer? If pre-Flood animals were vegetarians, why does cave art depict mankind with weapons hunting animals? Why don't these videos give us a timeline that includes the PreCambrian pre-dinosaur extinction? Why don't these videos mention the Chicxulub dinosaur extinction. You mention 24 hour day and creation, but has Earth day changed since then? (It has) Why do Moon rocks resemble Earth rocks if their creation was different? Why don't the Ice Ages get placed on YEC timelines. Why don't YEC people explain where the heat from plate tectonics went? Driven me crazy, plus shouldn't our lives be about helping widows, the homeless, migrants and refugees? Not rattling on about this sort of stuff?
I have a very good question...... I'm a believer in the Bible but why have we not found fossilized human beings? If God flooded the Earth because of man's sins, would there not be plenty of human skeletons that are fossilized along with dinosaurs?
It takes time for fossilization to take place, depending on the environment it can take about nine thousand years, such as cheddar man. Minatogawa man is a fossil from about twenty thousand years ago. There are plenty of examples of fossilized humans, but no human fossils with dinosaur fossils, because there was never a flood by God.
I heard something about 2 yrs ago that changed everything in my thought processes, regarding Christianity. First off, I absolutely believe that Jesus died on the cross, to pay for our sins, aprox. 6000 years ago. John 3:16 ✝ I 'also' believe we live in a 4 billion year old world, with dinosaur fossils hundreds of thousands, even millions of years old. How can this be ? Quite simple. The day that God created the heavens and the Earth, a little more than 6000 years ago, it was billions of years old. In other words, the Heavens and Earth were created with built in history, which could have easily included evolution. Take it or leave it. This is how it all makes sense to me.
I’m a long time believer in Christ. Yet, if you take Genesis at face value, God creates plants one day, and the sun the next day. Hmmm, that had to be quick because plants don’t live without sunlight.
"Butter their head and push." I'm listening to this with earphones, and juat belly laughed in the middle of my kids' karate class on that one. Oops! At least it's in a church gym and the kids are loud.
All we need to do is worry about today! GOD made everything, it doesn't matter how old it is! GOD IS ETERNAL and HE EXISTS. This world is coming to an end shortly, and we need to believe in Jesus Christ! PERIOD, END OF STORY!!
Such a great video. btw, a very few in number of dinosaurs do exist today in the Jungles of the Congo. Much like the cave drawings, paleontologists discount the real accounts of the native tribes found in the Congo and their real and sometimes tragic encounters with extremely large Sauropods and some other smaller creatures.
