I decided to make my sweater from the top down in the round with with circular needles, so I made the 2nd row chains in back post instead of front posts and came out same results. It is beautiful. Thanks
@@comment001 I started with a wide neck line so it fit around the shoulders and when finished the sweater, I crocheted at the neck line and made it gradually smaller to fit the neck opening. Can do it in dc's or hdc. Not the same pattern as the rest of the sweater. Because I did not know how to start at the neck and enlarge to fit from shoulder to shoulder

I think I might do the first row of just single crochet to give the bottom of the project a bit of stability but otherwise this is just perfect bless you ♥️
Does it have to be even multiple of 19 or can it be an odd multiple? I started with 7, which is 133 chains and now my first row wave is not aligning with second row

European crochet uses same names for stitches but applies them in a different format. Double Crochet can be applied to european crochet pattern stitches. Same name but applied to different stitch. The internet has a chart for all european stitches transfered to American stitches.
It’s a lovely design but unfortunately the demonstration is not very clear.. no verbal narration is fine but would appreciate if there’s constant written descriptions as the video goes along.. the description seems to disappear after the first row. I have tried to watch carefully but reluctantly have to give up
Treble stitches are considered double in UK patterns. They count the number of loops on the hook whereas in the US we count how many loops we are able to draw up. Thus, a single crochet in the UK is a double in US, and, a double is a treble, as you see here. VERY confusing when you accidentally get a kit with UK measurements 😅
