Have you though about doing opposite what you are doing. Start out betting 5 or 10 a spin and build up slowly, then go to the the larger bets as the machine starts to pay out better. I know that can be a little boring but you get to play a lot longer and you might come out ahead more often than not. After 500 down start thinking about switching machines. Every time is different. Sometimes I switch it up. Sometimes I'm just on a mission and cant be stopped. A lot of times when I'm down I don't want to get up thinking that I just fed it enough to get a hit and don't want to leave it for someone else. I know thats not the best thinking on it. but thats the mind of a gambler. lol
