Honeyyyyyyy when I tell u I’ve NEVER watched a RU-vid video & left comment NEVERRRR!!! I watched A LOT of videos when I wanna learn something. I’ve learned to do butterfly locs, soft locs, make wigs, color hair u name it I’ve watched videos on it!!! Thus gave me alll I needed to a T!!! Thank you!!!! Yes please do the podcasts!! I generally only listen to gospel podcasts but I’ll listen to yours as well!!
I love your work how much you go into details about the do’s and dont’s of sew ins. Some stylists wouldn’t take the time to do this so I appreciate you. Watching from Texas!!! 👍🏾
Yesss please talk about how you got started. I’m trying to get out of corporate America and work for myself as a licensed cosmetologist I need to much direction. Please start your podcast.
LaMozBz Beauty & Style I’m in the same boat. Finishing my last month of cosmetology school. Wasn’t easy and was definitely a sacrifice, but the opportunities that are opening up for me in salons has been worth it. Not quitting corporate yet, but now I have options. It’s a blessing. Go for it 👍🏾
Pulling your head down whilst sewing down the net is a game changer! I sew lightly too but could never work out why it still pulled and was tight. Thank you sis.
This was a highly satisfying sew-in. Her scalp was clean, braid down was neat and oiled/conditioned, the net was meticulously sewn on and she took pride in her work. Excellent sew in! I like the fact that the sew-in braid down was neat. I hate when I see stylists do a rushed braid down on dirty un-conditioned/oiled scalp. Great job on this TT!
Wow this is probably the most detailed video I have ever seen for a sew in! I normally just let these videos play but you showed great tips and it made me pay attention! Thank you so much!
Please do the pod cast I just graduated from school last year and covid hit and i feel like school only will teach you the basics but I want to continue to learn and grow with you and other stylists as well In my school we touched base a little on wigs and extensions but the rest was in a digital book so I'm on RU-vid literally learning studying taking notes on how to install weave and wigs so this is all new interesting and exciting for me to watch and learn from you please keep making more videos ❤❤❤😄😁
Although this video is two yrs old it’s perfect for me now. I am doing my cousin’s sew-in and these detailed tips are priceless. Even your voice is easy to listen to. Thank you so much. Beautiful work.
I like that you are so thorough and slowing down the video so that we can see exactly what your doing. You speak clearly and your instructions are crystal clear. Thanks for taking the time to help us save time and money.!🥰
This my first time watching your video and I always come to RU-vid to find good braid patterns for sewins and you just really showed me a better way to do a pattern for leave out……so I’m about to use this pattern for one of my clients and see if I got it
I LOVED this video! I spent my Friday Night in watching your videos and doing my very 1st sew-in in myself. PLEASE tell me you started a podcast!!! I loved listening to you and I would most definitely tune into your podcast!
Yes to the podcast!!! I already saw the first upload.. ❤️Anthony too btw but ur transparency is EVERYTHING & yes TEACHING is ur next move Toya cause you explain things throughly and visually.... I fucking luv you for these slowed down videos... I bout to take ova cause I’m licensed but you giving me the confidence I need to get out here 4real
I like the crisscross anchor Braids. The oil kept my hair from itching underneath my weave until I washed it. When I washed it I didn't re oil my head, it will make it greasy for my weave to be bone straight. So if I wear it curly instead until I wash it again it will work. My weaves grow out in 21days exactly. I have long hair and use this as my protective style. I take them out and redo my weave in a week to deep condition and trim my own hair. My natural hair is under my bra strap. I started using the net now because I accidentally cut my braid and I can see the plug that looks like a layering in my hair, but I know I messed up. The net is saving my hair from accidental new haircuts... LOL, IJS. I love your tutorial videos, they've helped me see the importance of protecting my own hair from mistakes in the foundation.
Good afternoon. I got busy working and caught just a small part of the video. I am learning so much from you and anything that you do I will watch because you're so talented. Thanks for sharing. God bless .
Yes gurl tysm for sharing i am just really gettin into sew ins and ur braid pattern has helped me even down to using my finger to measure how much leave out.. this is very informative and as a stylist I enjoy learning from other stylists ty gurl
Yesssss, someone else that uses their middle finger on their right hand to braid! People always tell me my hand look weird when I braid, but that’s the most comfortable position on that hand. Lol
TT you are so dope! I have been watching you for years, and thankful for your experience and sharing what you learned and your passion for what you do. I am so gonna book a sew in with you because I am so tender headed and I have long soft curly hair that I feel I can trust you to do my hair the way I would like. I know you are worth every penny! Love n Light Sis
Yaasssss Please I LOVE your videos they are very informative and inspiring. I was scared to try a wig, but I want to now because you make them look so natural and easy to install. I Love that you use Wild Growth it works wonders I have been using it off and on for over 20 years. But I would listen to the podcast to hear how you got started and how to grow the business.
