That's because back in the days, whatever would be considered content update today or DLC, would end up in the next title or simply discarded. I'm perfectly fine with ganes receiving DLC and content updates as long as it's done in a fair and consumer friendly way.

I think those remaining premium tier rewards should come in a $3 Pack, there are some who don't want to spend on a car (that they don't like) and those infinity sets are really good and can also be put on other cars. I get it, why are they making these rewards exclusive to make active players buy the speed pass at the launch, so they can get monetized at the start of the update. So, what I suggest is to bring another pack for "All Players" that will contain Other Remaining Premium Speed Pass Reward at $3.

The idea was actually to keep some things exclusive to players who actually bought the Speedpass and played it during the volume. Without that exclusivity, those things don’t feel very special.

I just care about new cars and new customization for cars and don’t care for online gameplay. What would you recommend me buy in terms of packs (catch up or car pack)? I just purchased NFS unbound digital copy today.

I’ve bought 2 packs that have 2 cars each and only got one from them they left the srt viper out and the legendary Porsche why did I only get half the pack still payed full price

Any news on when the Catch up Pack for Vol6 will come out? I've only just gotten back into the game in Vol7 since Vol1 and a lot of the missions need an Audi which is only accessible in Vol6 :/

my guess is it comes end the end of volume 7 before vol 8 comes out. (judging by old catch up packs and releases)

I’m so exited for NFS I’m mainly racing game guy. And for me Forza is really bland and lifeless and crew is boring and a chore. Gran Turismo is themed (when I’m in the mood) FM we don’t talk about. I need NFS to add good stuff this year because I’m bored!!! When I get my RU-vid channel setup I want content that’s fun for me to make and fun for viewers to watch. I hope NFS can fill that gap…

I'll be totally honest, all players not being able to at least have a chance to have all the content really sucks. While them splitting up the car carks and catch-up packs is fair and understandable I don't see a point in them locking away content from other players which had no chance of getting it due to financial constraints. It'd be much more fair if they had 2 or even 3 catch-up packs so you can choose to have all the content or miss out on some of it that you may not be interested in. Sure, it's nice for the players which were able to pay for the pass and have access to those things, but it isn't fair to those other people that may have not been able to afford the pass at the time

That mentality doesn't help the bigger problem of games trying to squeeze every last drop out of players after they already charged 70 dollars for the game. Add those measly 10 dollars plus catch up packs to 9 volumes of dlc and you're talking about more money in micro transactions than it costs to even buy the game.

Having base varients of cars and their bodykits in the speed pass isn't how it should be done. That stuff should always free to unlock via an in game challenge. I will be missing out on the RS6 as I don't support MTX that paywalls content that should free for ALL players that purchased the game in the first place. I don't mind variants of cars costing money but base versions should be free DLC like how they've been doing prior to Volume 6. In my opinion it's a rather scummy MTX practise doing that!

@@rightknider3071 Base versions of cars should be free content. We all already bought the game and it's a triple A company and not some indie dev trying to break through in the market. No excuse for locking base cars behind paywalls. If you wanna support scummy MTX feel free, enjoy your RS6. ;)

This new feature starts with the Volume 6. If you got the actual speed pass but still don't have the whole content of it you need to pay 3 dollars but you will get everything instantly.

If you have the premium Vol 6 Speedpass (you paid $9.99) and you don’t complete it, you can pay an additional $2.99 and get all the tiers rewarded instantly after the Speedpass ends.

Kinda glad I stopped playing. Not a fan of micro transactions while other games like TCM and FH5 just add brand new cars for free that just take racing.

Just an FYI, these are not "microtransactions" they are ways for people who didnt buy the speedpass when it was available to still get it. There's nothing predatory about that. TCM and FH5 Have car passes, memberships and/or paid DLC and Unbound does not. ALL GAMES are THE SAME. The primary objective is to make money and they all feature a slightly different way of doing that.

@@MilitiaGamingCommunity well put. I assumed when they came out with speed passes you had to buy them with cash? I stopped playing before that. I mean it looks like their giving a lot more in each update then they used to before speedpasses. I just don’t like the idea you have to spend cash to get premium items every 1-2 months. And of course everyone wants all the premium items. Forza just made it feel simpler. Spent $5, get 4 cars and your done lol. And idk I really enjoyed TC2 when they still had motorpass. But probably the same idea between a motorpass and a speed pass. Just too expensive to keep up with all these games. On the other hand FH5 and TCM do just add brand new cars outside of these passes and packs for free
