That last bit of the vid at the end had me giggling, she should have said something like "here at DeWalt we pride ourselves in providing you the hottest product on the market!" 🤣
Do you know what type of cells these new batteries use were they cylindrical cells or the new pouch ones ? Also thank you this was the most informative video on these mowers I've seen.
Thanks, SV, that's a great question. They didn't say and I was thinking the same question after recording this video. I'm hoping someone else jumps in with the answer, otherwise I'lll reach out and ask.
They had it on display and available to test drive. They made some improvements to the lap bars and some foot control adjustments. I tried to go back and get a video, but didn't make it. They don't have a release date yet or a price.
Great question. I looked at my video footage and noticed a cup holder on the left and a rectangle storage area that fits a phone on the right side. I didn't see a USB charger, but will find out.
Waiting for the day when the dewalt manufacturer makes a dewalt electric bike for transportation to and from work et cetera . Solar tarp to charge batteries . Finally a mid size truck or atv / utv with the same slide out battery displayed in this video
The plan is to plug it into your house or garage overnight. It would be interesting to see how much fuel it would take for a generator to completely charge all the drained batteries.
@@MarkThomasBuilder kwh is more a measure of run time. The Chevy Volt has an 18 kwh battery and can go 53 miles and weighs nearly 2 tons. And that's hooked up to a 150hp electric motor. 16 kwh seems like it should go for a while for landscapers (measured in hours as opposed to highway miles obviously).
@@ToolHombre Okay, thanks for clarifying. I did hear something about these Dewalt batteries would probably need to be changed out in the middle of the work day. The runtime depends on if the grass is thick in the springtime or dried out lighter grass in months like August.
