My Restoration
ETHANs Torque wrench
Once upon a time, in a quaint little town nestled between rolling hills and meandering streams, there lived a young man named Ethan. Ethan had a passion for cars, ever since he was a boy, tinkering with engines and marveling at the intricate workings of each vehicle that passed by.
As he grew older, Ethan nurtured a dream within his heart - to own his own garage, a place where he could repair and restore cars to their former glory. He envisioned a cozy space filled with the hum of engines, the scent of grease, and shelves lined with all manner of tools.
Every spare moment, Ethan would spend poring over car magazines, studying repair manuals, and saving every penny he could scrape together from odd jobs around town. His determination never wavered, fueled by his unwavering love for all things automotive.
Finally, after years of diligent saving and planning, Ethan's dream was within reach. He found the perfect little garage on the outskirts of town, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet easily accessible to car enthusiasts far and wide.
With trembling hands and a heart full of hope, Ethan signed the lease and set to work transforming the humble space into his vision of paradise. He painted the walls a vibrant shade of blue, hung up vintage posters of classic cars, and meticulously organized his array of tools.
For weeks, Ethan poured his heart and soul into his newfound haven, each day bringing him closer to the realization of his dream. And finally, the day arrived when he swung open the doors of his garage to the world, ready to welcome in his first customer.
But fate, it seemed, had other plans in store for Ethan. On a stormy night, a freak accident sparked a fire that quickly engulfed his beloved garage, reducing years of hard work to ash in a matter of hours.
Devastated and heartbroken, Ethan stood amidst the smoldering ruins of his dreams, feeling as though his world had crumbled around him. But even in his darkest hour, a glimmer of hope remained alive within him.
With the support of his friends, family, and fellow members of the community, Ethan vowed to rebuild, stronger and more resilient than ever before. And though the road ahead would be long and arduous, he knew that with passion in his heart and determination in his soul, nothing could ever extinguish the fire that burned within him.

Doesn't need the tips hardening after exposed to fire?

Thank you for your technical comment. 👷🏻‍♂️🙂 You say right. It will be better if I heat up the tool and dip in cold engine oil. It helps the metal become harder. Oil have Carbon. Carbon is added to iron to make it hard and strong because by adding the impurity of Carbon it stops the dislocation of the Iron atoms in the crystal lattice from sliding past one another.👍😊

It was a small car workshop that burned rubbish. the workshop was in a burnt accident and part of the workshop was damaged. I was looking through junk and found some stuff for my project. in the description there is more information what happened later for the workshop and the owner.🙂

"Très vieux" ?! IMPOSSIBLE... les clés et vis Torx n'existent que depuis 1967... 😂😂😂

Thank you for your comment, and your interesting information, it shows that you are interested in the history of technology for tools🙂. In the 57 years from 1967 to now, three generations have had the opportunity to use this tool. should therefore be counted as an old tool.😊

what is interesting in restoration (imho) is that there an old/ancient item which is restored and now looks grate. In this video i don't see anything like that. sorry , maybe a good work but on regular item

Thank you for your interesting comment. 😊 The thing that makes these items unique is their history. the craftsmen who worked with them and started their business with these tools. all the people who got help for example from mechanics, carpenters or electricians, all the money those people made from that tool and paid their families expenses. I think it is very interesting to give a new chance to the tools to do more valuable work, there is a lot of positive energy in these tools. more information is available in the video's description.👍

I have one of those and there is no way you can uncrew the screw and nut like that because the screw is flared on the other side of the nut, 1/10 Try again.
