Dear ms. jazz, I don’t know how you felt about this one compared to other talent and Dimashs performances of the past. This was the one that without any vocal coaches advice or anyone else’s input that put me on to him being the best vocalist ever and not just male vocalist. I had heard sos from the 2017 performance at singer in China and knew how good he was. How, the octaves he covered that his voice capabilities would be wasted on a song if someone threw a piece of sheet music in front of him and said, “Sing this”. His octaves and technicalities would be wasted. I saw that he had to write his own material, rewrite material or someone else with knowledge of his voice capabilities and to push him would write for him. More about this performance later, as that’s exactly what happened at this performance. Go back to the end of this performance and observe the lackluster response to this performance from this reserved Sochi Russia performance. Few stood up, but in the front a tall bald man in a white shirt out of his pants stood up in standing ovation himself clapping for dimash looking a little askance from side to side wondering why others didn’t appreciate dimashs performance. That man was Igor krutoy a Russian billionaire composer producer that had many famous musicians and singers thin his cadre of clients. I believe this is where Igor introduced himself to Dimash offering his mentorship, producer and composer abilities, and the choice of 5 of 10 of his songs for Dimash to perform. You will find them in the ones that the dears recommend in your comments. But guess what Dimash got out of this? He kept his independency as his own producer not signing a contract but gleaning a mentor and producer. Igor both knew how to write rewrite and compose and produce to push Dimash. Dimash has always had control I’d the final product of what he puts out. Back to this performance. This range here may be 4 octaves of his 8 octave range… every register he sings in no less powerful than the last from bass to metso. That melisimo was 24 second long with a scale in it that we in America know nothing about and the goat trill used in lamentation for those passed on as that was what the song was about for AStudio band in dedication to their lead singer who had died, but the way Dimash used with this pop sound I had never heard. All the techniques the dynamics, the range, the complete master of the language, the live performance with no autotune. When hen he took in air bent his body over and did a rock screami going into that 24 second melisimo showing it wasn’t auto tunes and just kept the melody going … all of this showed me he was the best. When I got through I said that he was the best to myself, I said he had outperformed himself anotherwards he couldn’t repeat it, and that no one else could either. But then I saw in other live performances where he did repeat it and he was better. How? how was it possible? Professional singers and vocal coaches know he’s the best of all time and the best in centuries. The centuries old singers had benncasterated to have dimashs soprano voice but then had no bass. Dimash has power in every register. New listener coming in don’t like the best in the world and are mad about the terminology and find nonexistent errs to prove them right. I saw sos the first listen when he was 22 yrs old when he did a popopera style the years off education practice and natural abilities and just after two videos knew his extreme talent. Because we think popularity on radio airplay of tv or America is the only measure of the greatest we faulter on hearing RU-vid’s wonderful unknown global talents that don’t make it to those media and mediums of talent. Dimash is only 29 and already has content out there (and live content) of a 60 yr old. He’s been very busy. I can’t keep up with him. Some reactors like you like to get their info on an artist such as Dimash from their comments. But to get away from the rumor and negative comments for a bit go to Wikipedia and read for about 2 hours or much as you can stand for as close to the truth as you will find and you will be amazed at their child turned to adult prodigy. Their octaves for dimash are always off but through the years from 2017 and sometinpme from home movies of his parents forward to current you will hear those bass notes in the first octave and that D9 off the piano at that top which is a frequency and not a note at the Gakku concert live for proof of dimashs 8 octaves not 6. You have to have heard his content to have come across these live performances as he so known for having over 100 live videos on his channel. Don’t be afraid to acknowledge him as the best as vocal coaches Nina scofield and Tara Simon’s and many others just throw their habpnds down giving Dimash this titled. This was my second listen and in this one personally I could give it to him because it couldn’t be repeated with such finesse by either male or female all register covered with ease power, dynamics and many different techniques covered within this owe registered.
Just want to let you know that Igor Krutoy met Dimash and his father Kanat before this event. In fact, he invited Dimash to perform at the New Wave ‘18. There is an interview out on RU-vid with Igor.

It's a cultural thing. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. Russian audiences are more reserved, but that doesn't mean they don't love Dimash. They just don't show it that way. Like I said, it's a cultural thing. 23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. It’s unbelievable. By the way he didn‘t win The Singer competition. He became second in The Singer competition in China 2017, because of not being a Chinese. The following year in 2018, they changed the rules and Jessie J. won. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2018. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest. This song was in Russian, a language he speaks fluently. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands.
