I love that you've functionally become the best in the entire world at fixing these pieces, simply because no one else is brave enough to try. Thank you for showing us something that we almost certainly would never have encountered otherwise.
might I suggest re bushing the endpoints on both governors. Doing that should reduce the squealing most likely caused by worn bushings. Small watch bushings would have to be specially ordered.
IF you have watchmaking and machining skills, coupled with musical skills to create the musical arrangement and tune the comb, then yes - you could do it!
