That was very beautifully done. I like the artistic touch of leaving the sides in their pitted but polished finish. I would love one like that. I'm going to have to find one of those and see if I can do the same result.

Оце видно що молоток дійсно іржавий. А то візьмуть ножик, посиплять його якимось порошком на клею, заховають десь в садку - потім Ух-ти!!! Ножик знайшов!! І реставрує...

I loved the part where you took the wood chisel to it. The right tool for the right job. I hope you sharpened it first. And then the electrolysis. Classic!

OUTSTANDING! I thought it was going to be a moon rock (or a meteorite. 😄) until you did all that hard work and we started seeing metal. (Eureka!) Finished product couldn't be any more beautiful. I wonder how long the poor hammer head had been lost, or broken, then abandoned.... ? At any rate, thank you for giving us back a little piece of history. Wow, if this hammer could talk! Thanks again.

Я так само коли дивився, думав: "Тільки не бери в руки напільник" коли побачив, вже хотів вимкнути. Але кінцевий варіант трохи гірший, але не поганий.

Гарний молоток, такий не соромно повісити на стіну, в колекцію Правда, як інструмент він вже не котується, верхній, цементований шар сталі знятий, а без неї, він швидко втратить свою красу

Please use sodium carbonate (aka washing soda) when doing electrolysis, as using salt will result in release of chlorine gas, which can be lethal.
