Carlo, take your finger and point to your heart and tell God, “this is where it hurts. Point to your mind, this is where the depression is. And wait. The Holy Spirit will start to lift your burden. You can practice this over and over. God loves you, ask Jesus to become real to you. He has a wonderful plan for your life.

So incredibly true! We lost our day in ’78 at the tender age of 54 and life was never the same - we all miss him very much to this day and try to celebrate all memories we all worked so hard to make. Carlo’s dad was surely a TREASURE!! 🌹❤
I lost my father in 2011 also. He was 66. Pancreatic cancer. It still hurts. I have seen him in my dreams. He's younger than when I seen him last. My mom has too.

I lost my father, mother and my youngest brother all within three years of each other. For quite awhile I felt like an orphan. Then I realized they were still there in my heart. I always have great memories of them.

So good you went home to be with him when he was in the hospital. We can’t live forever and leaving behind people who are extremely saddened and grieve for us when we pass is a sign of a life well lived.
