I gree honestly, this has nothing to do with the goverment, they should not wait for anybody to clean their environment. They just dont care en dont see the dirt anymore it becomes a normal situation for them . Its really sad May the goverment should place some cleaning advides on billboards picking up en cleaning places etc etc .but this is a hard knok life 🙈

It is the government's responsibility to oversee PUBLIC HEALTH issues in the country whether it be by educational campaign or providing proper waste disposal systems and consciously working with the citizens to instill PRIDE in their country.

As citizens of this country we all have an obligation to keep it clean and not throw litter,garbage and waste everywhere. It's a massive eyesore and it's shameful that people just don't care enough about the environment and the long term impact of having this garbage littering every roadside.

This is a disgrace, it's disgusting. The area looks like place where you go to dump your rubbish not sell food!!! They seriously need to have daily rubbish collection and road sweeping.

The vendors cause a lot of the problems here,by throwing their rubbish in the street.They will never clean up their own mess.

@@amadoujallow6994 Yes they are the problem, there's no accountability. If they had a designated selling space (a market) and rubbish was colected, the roads swept at the end of the day, the environment would be better. This is down to educating people about their surroundings.

It seems like only Costa Roads is the most difficult market area to clear since this operation started chaiy..and What a dirty market and how can our own mothers,fathers,sisters and brothers selling in a environment like that and they are seller's who are trying to feed there families and they still selling foods items in a dirty place close to your own eyes everyday it's not hygiëne and too messy to be honest y.and it's hard to say but if the government is not doing nothing or more effort about it,but themselves selling in that area should and clean it's becus where you do your earning (hustling),ah honestly this not hygiene,this should be a collective work for us all to clean our country ❤❤it's sad,selling in the street or footpath areas should be stop..seeing this....😢😢

My question is what do the officers do with the stuff that they seize from these venders, hope they dont share it among each other Gambia is among the corrupt countries in the world.
