I like that this one is simple and basic. I'd rip out at least one side of the bunk room and use for desk or TV, etc.

First time camper when we bought this unit at the RV show, really due to bunk floor plan for the kids after looking at many units. Admittedly, with hindsight and further education I may switch out for a fifth wheel eventually, but for now it's been great. We have 3 kids so the space is awesome and after the 1st year the dealer fixed everything we complained about under warranty. Now on towing... as a rookie I know now how disappointing it was that no one even asked what I was towing with until after we purchased (my responsibility but would have been nice). Luckily, I had a 2019 Ram 1500 with a 12,700 capacity. I added the WDH with sway bars, braking assist, and air lift. We have a seasonal spot but still have taken many trips within 2-3 hours from home with no issues. Even in a horrible storm I had not control issues just killed my mpg fighting the wind. That being said, I've been shopping for a 3/4 ton for this summer since I think it does make more sense for this size trailer.

Wow, as someone who has researched a LOT of bunkhouses, that is a very unique floor plan. Great for the family with more than 2 kiddos. That is for sure way too much weight for a 1500 truck, even the higher end towing packages, this needs a 2500. I'd want to swap out that fridge for the new 12 volt fridges. I love my new 12 volt fridge.

Seems kinda barren inside. The master bedroom seems like a white box, where they added a bed, and a little cabinetry after the fact. Bathroom doesn't seem like it was utilizing space all the well either. But, that could all be modded by a family to make it more livable.

Ptguy0618 So does class C. The only two solid build RVs are some class A and most class B. They are built on the original vehicle structure, which is designed by auto engineers, instead of built on a van/truck chassis.

Great review as always. Agree with all of your comments regarding the lack of sink in the outside kitchen, and lack of storage in the bathroom. They should have lowered the height of the bunk house wardrobe closet, since only the kids on the top bunks could see the TV. I do like all of the windows and overall layout. Looks like a perfect unit for a weekend trip for a large family.

Well it was very big but I wonder if it was motorized or manual pull out? I think remodel of unit should upgrade single room bed convertible wall pull up to change seat fold chair space for daytime. But certainly a treat and variety of 9-10-12 travel space! Thank you for presentation.!

Lets be honest now. It isn't about modernizing the interior by going light wood, it's about not wanting to fool around with giving people choices because they don't have the time to crank out the RV's and Trailers during this time of great demand for the product. They don't want to mess with more than one color, it's too much trouble for them, but they also don't want to keep on top of the production quality either.

I like the separation of bedroom/bunk beds. Bedroom has nowhere for cpap machine. 36 ft no washer dryer hook up....at least a stackable one? 2 a/c a must for that length camper.

According to the specs, a huge trailer is 36 ft 11 inches. A trailer with an 11,500 lb gross would be better off with 16 inch tires rather than 15 inch.

Started watching your reviews recently and generally like them. I wish you would mention or show the electrical plugs. How many and placement. 2 of the top 3 things on our list for the new camper we bought were storage and number of plug ins.

Might I suggest a realitivly new brand of travel trailer. IBEX from forrest river. They lean towards smaller more boondocking capable rigs. Currently looking at their small toyhauler.

storage is a issue and would be a deal breaker... love the video.. putting 4 bunks in the front in my opinion.. it needs a slide.. and center wardrobe with drawers under the bunks.. bathroom??? to small and zero storage for a 10 person RV.. same goes with the fridge.. and on that note, a outside fridge would be a must with that many people.. good luck putting sheets on that King size bed... ... in my opinion that unit would be better with deleting two front bunks and adding more storage in its place.. ...

I would argue it is half ton towable under certain circumstances. Providing you have a late model pickup with over 12000lb towing capacity, good sway control hitch, keep the trailer weight close to empty weight and the wind is calm. New half ton would have no problems pulling this trailer under these conditions. Would I pull this with half ton if I was a full timer NO. Would I pull this with new capable half ton occasionally on shorter camping trips. YES.

I have an unrelated to this video question about truck and fifth wheel combination. I have a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 380FLR with a GVWR of 16,800#. I am considering upgrading the pin box to a Reese 2nd Gen Goosebox. The thing I need to know before doing that is if it will work with a short bed 1 ton pickup? I am looking at a 2020 RAM 3500 DRW Limited Mega cab and since that only comes with a short bed I’m not sure if the goosebox will work or if I’ll have to get a fifth wheel sliding hitch? Any assistance you could give me with this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Knowing my dodges to an extent a 6 ft dually should be plenty of truck to haul it. The trans may not like the idea of it but that's a dodge. If u can do basic transmission maintenance and stuff you should be fine though. U may need to slide it back but I have seen quite a few 6ft haul combos

Not enough storage. None above the dinette and sofa, not enough in the bunk room and that queen size bed would feel very claustrophobic to some people, plus it would be very hard to get in and out for shorter/heavier people. No storage for bath towels etc is a big thumbs down.

Looks and sounds like a very cheaply made unit. I've seen much nicer ones. Can sleep nine (?) People but where do they store their stuff? How long is it and what is the price ($).

And.. where do you put the people when they are not sleeping? 2 on the couch and 2 at the dinette. Everyone else has to go outside and play in the rain 🤣

@@seabliss22 Yeah, it feels like they go overboard with the sleeping space just because they have things that *can* fill that role, but don't think about what being in that thing would be like if that many people were *actually* in there. . It's not even just the seating and general storage. Food storage is a potential issue as well, especially given that small fridge.

Don't know if I was seeing things, but looking down in the vent in the bathroom, it looked like light from the outside was coming in??? Overall, this rig seemed rather cheaply put together. Not impressed exceot for the kitchen island design.

Opens closet door and it flexes like a rubber band. No thanks. This thing will fall apart in no time. The furniture looks cheap and uncomfortable. With slides in this camper is useless. Great tour but bad product.

Are you factoring in that he's using some weird lens to make this stuff look bigger on the inside? It kinda distorts things outside of the center.

This one doesn’t impress my at all sadly, it has four bunks and sleeps two in the master, only a love seat living room seating, and one tiny bathroom without adequate storage,.. nope,.. not impressed at all.

Nice but to me. Why go camping. When you can just start a fire in your back yard. The money you save take your kids or kids and grandkids to Disney because must of the family’s I meet at the campgrounds they are just sitting around the picnic table or fire ring bitching that they are getting bad cell service or Wi-Fi connection can go down to where the cell works I think the WiFi works at the park office.😂😂😂
