Langur is an intelligent creature. Once I was sitting in my at kakkanalla checkpost on ooty _Mysore Road for the lorries to move in front of me. As Ihe lorries didn't move I got down to see what's happening. A baby langur was sitting in the middle of the road keeping its gaze on the forest side. A dozen big langurs climbed vegetable and fruit carrying lorries. They opened the tarpaulin on each lorry took veg or fruit in each arm and climbed the nearest trees. One big langur gave a whistle and the baby lanur moved away giving way to the lorries to move forward. I stayed at the spot for 2 hrs to enjoy the scene which was repeated when new fruit or veg lorries came. A daylight thievery stage managed by a baby lanur. I am really surprised to see the affection shown by this woman to a langur baby like her own kid. God bless her. I hav 2 dogs nd 20 cats. But this video surprised me.
