You should go to London out side of no 10 downing St on the 26th of October with Tommy Robinson and everyone else who has had enough of what is going on. We want our country back. 😮.
I doubt it will work, but I'm emailing my MP several times a week with my grievances, and this will be another. I'm really sorry you're all having to struggle with this mess. My thanks to you all.
Please don't let them drive you out. Can you take action of some sort? In Holland the farmers are selling direct to the public. Refuse to deliver to the House of Commons for a week.
The plan has always been this, control the farm, control the food supply, you vil eat ze bugs,. Control the food supply, you control the people. There is always a way around these dictatorship rules, I am interested in growing food, but not on an industrial scale. But I think working in 'different' ways with other people, bringing in alternative ideas, is how to get around things and actually benefit
Bring back our tory government......Wales voted Labour so what can you expect from non farming Labour woflers ....he'd rather keep all these imagrants cosy, instead of looking after our own working people. 4 years of this misery.
Trusts or limited company? All farmers need to check the choice for thir future, their families future and the publics choice of method of what they will eat. The WEF has plans, Starmer/Labour Party are following these plans. I, like many others do not want to be forced into synthetic meat/food products. Keep food real & support farmers. Local councils next election in May 2025. Start asking yourself now which party will really help uk farmers and fishermen. Check out the parties with your questions now!
Not sure if the youtube filter is filtering my comments or it's approved comments only but on the off chance it's the former, the homeland party is the only nationalist party that's willing to stand up for farmers. Please consider them.
Removing APR from farmland for working farmers would be a huge mistake, causing a drop in land prices and the destruction of the Agricultural industry’s balance sheet. The industry is not great at managing succession and needs to get better. However Starmer’s government appreciates, or at least talks about, that economic growth is needed. Perhaps active business assets will be protected?
Your not on your own They also said that they would abolish entrepreneurs’ relief (now known as business asset disposal relief) and Furnished holiday Lettings businesses to be taxed more. We all got to work harder to pay for the free benefit state
Isn't just farms that are tenanted out that will be subject to inheritance tax so the family owned and farmed farms will still get agricultural property relief?
So farmers want to receive subsidies, cheap diesel and avoid inheritance tax as well? I’m sure they do! Unfortunately millions of members of the public pay these bills for them hardly have a few pounds to scratch together. Is that fair while many ‘ordinary’ farmers have massive assets and drive round tractors worth more than some peoples mortgages (if they are lucky enough to be able to ever own any kind of property themselves). Of course farmers want the status quo to continue but it’s simply not fair on taxpayers and our run down public services. Maybe the banks could establish some kind of equity release system on their land like millions of people do when they don’t have much income but have substantial assets?
@@GarethWynJones no need to be rude, just shows the weakness of your argument. And no, I won’t be going hungry because I don’t eat meat and the vast majority of farmland in this country is subsidised livestock (with damaging environmental consequences) most of which is sold abroad anyway. No one likes paying tax and everyone thinks their right and wants to have nice things for themselves, but society is a balance of responsibilities and farmers have had it good for too long. Time to redress the balance.
Nope, your attitude and mindset you won't go hungry, you'll either starve, or pay a fortune to become (if not already) a vegetarian that has insecticides/anti-fungal chemicals sprayed onto your food, in packaging to keep it "fresh", artifical fertilisers in the soil etc.
