I passed one today on the M55 doing a very steady 70, 2 up, with a lot of luggage....it looked solid and strong. Definitely a Vespa, 20/21 plate (?), bright yellow, but unsure of any other details 😊
I've had big bikes in the past and once a shop was doing a bit of work on my bike so they borrowed me their GTS 300 Vespa with a race can on it, and was I suprised how quick it was, great little scooter
I've made several mistakes selling scooters. I progressed from SH350 to Forza 750, then back to Forza 350, then Zontes 310M, and now back with SH350 which I love, and wonder why I ever sold!
i can totaly agree with eveything you have said about the GTS300 ...but then again i am a scooterist i am lucky to own two classics a vespa and a lambretta (and no they dont always break down if well maintained i have done thousands of miles with very few issues but after 46 years i have half an idea of whats gone/going wrong) but i was running an 07 plate 250 for many years then the itch started chopped the 250 in for a kawasaki 650 6ERF to be fair smashing bike and in great condition (haha going to blame you as i watched one of your vids lol) now its just been like my football team relagated again as i have just bought another GTS 300 15 plate little bit of panel damage as the last owner used the side stand so got a cheap scooter (A BIG NO NO on the sie stand ) the 300 is a great scooter for all occasions around town and touring they are quick and cheap to insure and so easy to ride and give miles of smiles home and abroad.
😂 I’m happy to take credit for the 650 😂 these 300 scooters are brilliant as well. I definitely need to add a scooter to my collection. I just need to make some room In the garage.
I own a xmax 300 and burgman 200, both amazing scoots, both capable of over 80mph the storage and weather protection is amazing, they are great for motorway riding
There is a sprinkling of secondhand GTS300 out there at the moment. I do like them. But I will have to learn to use gears first to take the next test (on a 600cc) before I am able to buy one.
No they are not expensive. It is a matter of right tool for the job. How is a Vespa expensive as practical as it is and say a 500cc Honda which is less practical better value? The latter is a toy. You are looking at it the wrong. Your video is all about comfort and ease of use and then you say expensive just because of CC's.
@@Blingbling820 So scooter just means cheap now then? You being very simplistic in your thinking. You don't appear to understand how to use the word expensive.
@@clangerbasher it’s all about context. For a motorcycle it’s not that expensive. For a scooter it’s expensive because it’s high quality. You’re out of touch. Why are you so angry? Not getting any vag?
