i have vespa. 11 saal ho gaye usko. 77 ki li thi us time activa i guess 58 kuchh ki aati thi. 1.5 lakh chal gai koi issue nahi hai and kamal ki bhagti hai aaj bhi plus pura unibody hai koi joints nahi hai to koi rattling noise nahi hai itna chalne k bad bhi. bas ek hi dikkat hai inke service centre walo ki monopoly hai iske parts bahar nahi milte aur service apko unhi se karwani padti hai, iski service mehngi nahi hai but service centre wale bana dete hai mehngi, aur bahot mehnge parts bhi aur kahi aur milte nahi to koi chhutkara bhi nahi hai. reliable to bahot hai. paint bhi A1 quality. mene jab li thi toa iska mileage nikala tha dono baar 55 k around aaya tha mujhe. i was very happy kyunki activa vagera 40 bhi nahi de pati thi. aaj kitna deti hai idea nahi hai.

Reasons why one should not buy a Vespa 1. Spare parts not available in open market becaue company purposely does not give spare parts in open market. 2. Higher cost of spare parts - Example: Petrol cock costs above Rs. 1,100, while that for activa costs only Rs. 250. This 5 times differences is unjustified. 3. Spare parts not available in authorized service center also. There is always a 'shortage' of spare parts even in authorized service center. Even basic spare parts like air filter elements, petrol cock, etc. are not available. 4. Mechanics at authorized service center are not good enough. My problems were solved by local mechanic even though mechanics at authorized service center got ample opportunities to solve the problem. 5. Black-marketing of spare parts - you will have to pay upto 30 or 50% higher price if the part you need is not available. 6. Bad mileage - Gives mileage only when the scooter was new. After that, it drops very fast. 7. Local mechanics do not want to touch this bike because they have to dismantle and re-mantle more parts compared to other bikes like activa, jupiter, etc. 8. Vespa authorized service centers are closing down fast. This means that you will have to travel across cities to get spare parts. You may even have to wait for days to get the spare parts because there is always a shortage. 9. High price is not justified. 10. Limited number of vespa buyers means company and authorized service center have small customer base. So they try to survive by exploiting them. Service cost is higher, and service quality is poorer.
I got all these spare parts at the service center. Genuine spare parts of any brand are not available in the market, only local products are available, that too of Honda, Hero, Bajaj.Spare parts of TVS and Suzuki are available only in service centers. High price justified because of build quality. I agree that their spare parts are a bit more expensive.

Mere hisaab se brother ye best scooter hai.. maine 4 saal use kiya fir access 125 li fir facino li aur ab activa 125 chala raha hoon but Still I miss vespa.. Iss se better mere hisaab se nahi hai scooter.. 80, 90 aaram se jaati thhi meri aur 60 ke baad ulta aur smooth ho jata thha engine baaki sab ka lagta hai fatt jayega 70 ke baad
Sahi bola bhai mere paas bhi Aprilia sr125 hai ,iska high speed stability nd ride and handling quality bohut badhiya hai ,agar proper thik se service karoage ta average ki bhi koi problem nahi ayegi, mujhe highway mein 44 tak diya hai aur city mein 38-42 tak.

Bakwas gadi hi 30 ka mileage ara gadi ka mere pas bhi wahi gadi hi haiway pe jo speed brekaes rahte hi na 6 ya 7 ek sath chote hight wale uspe gadi 30 ke speed me uska back weel dance karta gadi gir jati hi
Sahi hai... Mileage bahot kharab hai mere ko to 25 to 29 hi mil raha hai.. Aur front suspension is bakwaas and rear tire always looses air... This vespa is for enthusiast not for long normal daily drives... Not at all value for money.. For short city rides it is ok... Not for long distance..
