@@snypher02dude Noah was so incredible that at first I thought it was backing tracks. His voice is just that good. The rest of the band were on point as well.
It's more on sound engineer, even if you're equipment is top tier, you can easily sound like shit if everything on the technical side isn't set up good and adjusted
I totally understand that people paid money to see them, but I'm glad the crowd was (mostly) quiet for this one. Usually recordings I see have people screaming over Vessel.
I saw them at blue ridge, but I want to see them in a non-festival setting. There were FAR too many crowd surfers during them to even pay attention before getting hit with another person. What I heard and saw though was utterly phenomenal
Pretty sure this was before their new album which blew them up so it doesn't have all the annoying fangirls. I love this band and have since their first songs back in 2016 and I'm happy for them that they've gotten so popular but the hordes of new fans are insufferable. I saw them last year for $20 and now they sell out in 10 minutes with aftermarket tickets being hundreds.
@@Khainite that checks out😅 it was the same thing with Bad Omens. They were decently popular before but after TDOPOM dropped it has been impossible to find tickets.
I only discovered Vessel and Sleep Token a few days ago (I know, WTF right?! 😭) but I am SO happy I did and I have not been more blown away by a musician in decades 🙌🏻 So much TALENT!
Same I’m like how did they stay this hidden from me😭 His voice is soooo beautiful and the band in general blows me away each new song I listen to! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Bro you have SOOOOOOO much to catch up to. Sundowner, This Place Will Be Your Tomb, Take Me Back To Eden. Listen to each album in that order, because it's all actually telling a sequential story. Yes, it's that deep.
I worked one of the festivals and the stage they played in the US last year, when I tell you this mf FLOATS when he walks, I’m not exaggerating. Ofc I kept my distance bc I was working and ya know, professionalism, but dude, I heard him warming up before sound check in my hammock under the stage and he was ETHEREAL.
Just saw them for Louder Than Life and they were so amazing!! I wish their mic was a bit louder or distinct over the booming bass but a wonderful experience either way!!
@@deadloverboy9519 yes! I just bought my ticket for one of the Chicago dates today. Venue Pre-sale is tmrw and GA is Friday, make sure to get your ticket 🎟 You will not be sorry!
Thank god this short popped up long ago when I was just looking through shorts, I never would have found out about them sooner, and I found them at the right time, TMBTE was the album that helped me through a bad relationship and then bad breakup 😭✋
Sleep token fans are like their music: some are metal and some are pop. Personally I just think those 2 things never needed to meet but whatever, more women in the metal community is needed because I won't lie and say it's not a little crowded as a dude thing
If you're impressed by this, you've clearly never heard Devin Townsend play live. You want an impressive vocal performance and a crowd that pays reverence to talent, go watch him perform The Death of Music from his Royal Albert Hall show.
I found these guys in 2019 I saw them life as my first experience and wow immediately was hook I went to the merch table and said yes give it to me. But Leo sounds great too bad they all got leaked :( I liked the anonymous
This is the video that welcomed me to sleep token, I say this ages ago, loved his voice, did some digging, now I’m obsessed thank you so much This has changed my life ❤❤❤
I’m sad… I hope this dude is just naturally skinny as hell and doesn’t use drugs I know, super random but I just discovered these guys and love them and this is my first time seeing the dude
The band makes good music but dear Jesus Christ in heaven the fanbase makes me cringe harder than Bieber fans back in the day. The comment sections on anything related to Sleep Token are thirsty to a degree that is fairly pathetic.
This is something I dont hear alot of people talking about. You can tell by his vocal control that he's gonna have a very long and fulfilled singing career. Lots of guys in metal just don't have that kind of discipline with their voice and end up killing it so soon. It'll be neat to see Sleep Token a long time from now still having the same studio and stage presence they've had practically since they started
Honestly, I'm personally not a huge fan of their music for many preference reasons, but this is seriously impressive! I'm happy to see bands like them blow up and grow the scene and themselves, it seems they've worked very hard for quite a few years.
I been telling everybody here in Kentucky. Ibe found the greatest singer in the world. I love this dude with all my heart and I dont even know his name. ❤
i love him & the band & his voice. The whole concept of Sleep Token is genius. However, everything about that last vocal run wasn't at all difficult. He sounds fantastic, I'm not saying he sounds bad at all it just wasn't a difficult run. I think the Blood Sport version he performs in "from the room below" is a much better representation of his vocal acrobatics, keeping a vibrato constantly going & keeping it whilst adding distortion to his voice as harshly as he does whilst sounding making his voice sound so sorrowful i find much more impressive. Just an opinion.
that many bands have existed over the passage of time even just recently that a truly original band just doesn't exist. the same way an original (good) sci-fi setting doesn't exist any more.
