Long-distance trade began at A Lanzada almost 3,000 years ago. It served as a trading emporium, and also had a salted fish factory and a settlement. This unique site boasts an exceptional and exciting history. From the 6th century BC until the Middle Ages, the small cape where it is located experienced numerous changes and processes. The vestiges of this rich history can still be seen: from the salted fish factory, the church and the remains of the medieval tower to numerous artefacts, such as fishing gears and even human remains.
