Hey guys, it's the owner of cookie here, thank you guys for your condolences and Bondi vet for the amazing work they put into helping my little angel. It's nice to be able to see her face again seeing in the 4 month I had her I didn't get alot of photos and videos because I was trying to help her with her recovery. She will be missed and I hope she's looking after us and her ferret family

I am so sorry about Cookie. Thank you for rescuing her. Even if it was only for 4 months she knew she was loved and happy. Thank you to all of the vets and the vet nurses for doing all you do for animals in your care. You are an animals guardian angels. ❤️😇

Watching that poor dog who cannot breathe who's overweight and who has some kind of painful deformity for a tail makes me sad and angry at the same time. Breeding these dogs should be forbidden

The one thing that I enjoy about this program is that not all of the cases end in a happy ending. That’s because in real life, happy endings are not always guaranteed.

The previous owners fed the ferret dog treats!? Why get a pet if you’re not even gonna bother to feed it the right food!?

The surgeon seems like a very good doc, whenever I hear doctors/vets underline how anything can happen in seemingly common situations I feel more secure than with those who boast of their skill and minimize the issues. Yes, there are some situations that are almost always easy, but e.g. a surgery is always coming with a risk, whether in an animal or a human, and it showcases the maturity of the surgeon to acknowledge that. RIP Cookie 😢 At least she got to life her last months full of love and care.

Ferrets and their relatives the weasels eat mice, some birds, eggs, and other small animals in nature. Wonder if Cookie being kept in a cage and being fed dog biscuits was the reason for her anemia.

I know that the bulldog’s owner likely thinks his dog is perfect, but that’s one of the homeliest dogs I’ve ever laid eyes upon!

Supporting and/or owning a brachycephalic breed (whether it be dog or cat) is CRUEL!!!!!! It should be illegal. Breeding an animal that has a slew of serious health issues just because we like the way they look/think they're cute is DISGUSTING.

Never let your ferret go with fleas. They are too small. And she was already malnourished and underweight. Poor kit. ETA: I'm not saying this as an attack on the owners (Sorry, Michael). They obviously cared very much about Cookie and their other pets. I just wanted to make people aware of how serious fleas are with ferrets.

I breed and showed bulldogs for 12 years. I will never do it again. They shouldnt be breed anymore, they aren't breed for health, even my healthest ones got sick period. They get so sick and they get it the worst.

Vets nowadays do sooooo much extra unnecessary EXPENSIVE stuff now. And it’s sad bc they’re EDUCATED & TRAINED this way now. The full on operating room with a monitor & full on breathing machine?? Animal blood transfusions?? OPEN HEART SURGERY?? Chemotherapy? Even the seemingly simple thing like biopsies of lumps. Back in the day, a vet could literally use the texture, shape & location and tell u if it’s benign or malignant. Whether or not to remove or leave it. Surgery consisted of injecting anesthesia with a tube in the throat. BadaBoom BadaBang done. Ferret that weak & no color in nose or gums w/ heart murmur? And nothing found in physical? She needs to be put to sleep. And on top of it ALL- since Big Pharma also makes pet medications, they lobbied to pass a law that prevents medications from being prescribed (even ur next supply of flea meds) without paying for an appointment with the vet. $$$$$ has turned veterinarian medicine in a ridiculous, overpriced racket. So sad.

He"s not doing x-rays or something to try & see the remnant tissue before he goes in??
