You're right about that. Marines don't lie, the tell a colorful version of the truth. They don't cheat, they utilize outside the box tactics that aren't covered in the rules. They don't steal, they strategically transfer equipment to alternate locations. 😂

My Dad is (was) a Marine officer. He admitted that he didn't have his head wired to his ass until making Captain. But he was a pilot and pops earned his A&P in college (Airframe and powerplant, airplane mechanic). When ppl worked on his jet (F-4J) he helped or asked questions. His "I love me" wall is full gratitude. Not all officers suck eggs, just many. Let's not bring up the Air Force....

I'm not military, though I do come from a military family. My health wouldn't let me enlist in the Navy, so I became a bodyguard and got into personal and structural security. I've got Marines in the family, so I know full well how the power structure of the Corps stacks up. The way I've always heard it, the Commandant handles the press and the President. The Sgt. Major handles the Corps.

I have many Marine friends. They all say there is no such thing as Marine officers, there is Officers of Marines. You are not a Marine until you complete boot camp and none of the Officers went through Boot camp.

It sucls how, when covering the American military history, we never got to learn about military pets. Seriously, I had to learn about the SS boat cat, the Polish bear and Sgt. Reckless outside of school, and I will never forgive them. Also, if they added cabbage abd carrots to her beer, bacon and eggs, then she'd be getting her daily nutrition. But yeah, the bacon and egg thing didn't confuse me, bevause guess what? Horses eat that stuff in the wild. They kinda need to because the green stuff doesn't fulfill their daily necessities.

Please tell me you have read the book Gruntz the novel. Here's why: A Lord of the Rings style Orc army discovers a cursed dragon hoard which forces you to take on the personality and traits of the warriors who held the weapons before you. Well the thing is, these Orcs found a room full of US Marine gear. I'm talking weapons, ammo, vehicles, uniforms, etc. They become the fightingest marine orcs their world has ever seen and basically just show what would happen if Tolkien wrote his books after a campaign or two with some US Marines.... It's a standalone novel, short and sweet like a shot of whiskey.

Science? When sailors are in a similar situation, everyone tells mothers to hide their daughters... In the Navy, we call officers zeros, because that's often what they're worth.

In my experience, the only Marine Corps officers worth paying attention to are Mustangs.

IT'LL CERTAINLY INSPIRE SOME. 😂😂😂😂😂 I never know what to say to servicemen since my dad is also a marine but he never liked it when people say thank you for your service, so just whatever works for you I guess, know that I appreciate ya. :D You said that Marines never give up and never surrender, but sometimes I think life definitely tests that moniker. Even in all the shit I've seen my dad go through these past 6 months, (To keep a long story short, he nearly got into a car accident and everything went down hill from there, VERY, quickly. He nearly died at least twice during this time.) I've found that he has yet to give up. So I can say that it's very true, Marines never give up, but they're human too, and sometimes they get damn near close.

Please. I love all branches, but the Army is also known for insubordinace. I was drunk AF leading the pack in a night time punishment run in AIT. Anyone who puked had to do more PT.
