You should really tell the stories you keep mentioning you want to tell, while you are able to tell them. Someday you may not be able to tell them and wish you did. I've been watching some interviews with WW2 Veterans and I can only imagine the sheer amount of stories we'll never be told about. A prime example of a good story is the Bastogne Beer Run from WW2, people thought it was made up until the man (Vince Speranza) who actually did the beer run visited Bastogne decades later. There's multiple videos about this beer run on RU-vid, even ones where he tells the story himself. I'd recommend watching the interview by American Veterans Center here on RU-vid. You don't need to do a reaction or anything, its just nice hearing the interview. He passed away in 2023.
