Debbie Dalley : It is nice that they are not talking over each other and/or talking at the same time. The Sussexes are not concerned about anything but themselves. Care about others?? That is rubbish; they have NOT shown anything in their actions to indicate that they care about those much less than unfortunate than even an average person. The Sussexes are full-blown adults; they should be able to look after themselves, especially since the have the millions to pay for whatever they want.

Many comparisons are being made between Megan and Diana but as Charles Moore points out, the sussexes are less relevant as they are further down the line of succession. Princess Diana was married to the heir whereas Meghan is married to the spare. One being the Royal family is aligned with the Constitution and the Constitution is a public affair for all the scrutinize. Marrying into this family means you are giving up a fair bit of your privacy and I now understand why. Exactly - they married waaaay to quickly, IMO. That's where William got it right - he dated Kate on and off for a decade before marrying her, so they both had a chance to see whether she was good at dealing with media scrutiny over a long period - and she had a particularly tough time with the media when they broke up for a while - not many people could've handled being hounded constantly by papparazzi as she was, having 50 of them outside her flat at all times, but she proved herself capable. I think Harry assumed Megan would be up to it because she was already in the public eye, but being a royal is very different from being a famous actress, in terms of how the person is expected to behave - it's not something most rational people would choose for themselves, because it involves such a curtailment of personal freedom. They've both been pretty reckless in jumping into this thing so quickly and by the looks of their antics last week, they're continuing in this vain.

The British people really should learn at school how to fact check. All the bad stuff Diana allegedly did is hearsay. There is no proof she ever said anything about Charles in a villa in Italy. I read many books about Dianas death, the media members are so focussed on the drunken driver, their guilt screams through this tunnel vision. The public knows that had there been no paparazzi, she would still be alive. Harry knows it. We don’t need the media to understand what is going on, because Harry said it last October. He won’t let them bully him into a game that killed his mother. As simple as that. All the hysteria and many stories of the media is trying to divert from this one very clear statement.

A heartless woman, who had dragged two bereaved boys to a church, in front of the world media, the morning of their mother’s death. The heartless Windsor’s were totally shocked, at the world’s reaction, when Diana died. They were only concerned about saving their precious Institution. Before they had gone to church, the Queen, aka Mrs Windsor shook her grandsons hand, and said that she was “sorry,” about their mother’s death. All you know is the lies they spread. Behind the. public glare, it is a , money making machine, void of any feelings, where only the heartless survive.

@millyherzog4640
@millyherzog4640 4 года назад
J Felton I know my facts! Whilst you live in the fairytale world about the Windsor’s. Diana had dragged them ever so reluctantly in to the 21st century, it is because of her, and her sons ( because of the way, she had brought them up), that they are surviving. Before she married in to the world’s most dysfunctional family, the Windsor’s were very, very, unpopular. Totally out of touch, and the older generation remain so today. Charles never appreciated what Diana was trying to do. He was jealous of her popularity, ( like the rest of that heartless family) and never saw her as an asset, but a treat. He is a overindulged, petulant, self pitying, bouffant selfish wimp, who needs his mummy Camzilla to sooth him, and butter up his fragile ego. You know the two, do NOT live together! If you only knew the truth about them all, you would think differently. Good for Harry! He fought for his country in a war! He is suffering from a shell shock, and the fact, that he had never had a chance to mourn one person, who truly loved him, his mother. His own father had used him, and William, to score with the public after Diana died. Charles should never had married The Tampax Woman, he should have dedicated his life to his sons well being, and his duties. Instead, after Diana died, Camilla and her children, and her late father, moved in to St James’s Palace to live with him. When his sons came to stay there from school, they were never even allowed to mention their mother’s name, so not to upset the damn Mistress. They bottled up everything. Than Charles, Camilla, Penny Junor , and a very expensive spin doctor called Mark Bolland, hired by Charles, had embarked on a dirty, lying, character campaign to smear dead Diana, so that the public would accept, the lazy Camilla. Charles was desperate to revamp his damaged reputation. Patrick Jephsen, Diana’s former Private Secretary ( here on RU-vid) was not mincing his words, when he talked about how disgusting the Windsor’s had been to Diana. Diana’s sons know the truth, that is why they have not got a close relationship with their father, they see him when they have to, and Camilla hardly, mostly at official functions. In the meantime, they do, what the Windsor’s had done for decades, keep up with in appearance in public ( to fool people like you), in the Private, it is a different story. It is a toxic existence, , where only the toxic people survive. None of those people are close. ( The Queen’s Children’s.) They all have seperate, very competitive households, and communicate through their secretaries. William has no choice, he is stuck. Harry did have a choice, and he left. They will miss him. Apparently the Queen, and Charles now appreciate ( only too late), What Diana was trying to do. They see Harry is like her, with the public. They will miss that. He was a spare, and was never treated by them, the same as William, which used to infuriate Diana. He and his wife, will continue to do good, but outside of the toxic, unreal existence. Good luck to them! In the photos released today, if them getting off of a plane, shows Harry totally relaxed, happy, with no stress showing in his face. The hereditary monarchy is outdated, it will not survive for much longer. There is simply no room for it in our 21 st century.

Now of course we have the infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey. And what an interview it turned out to be. The Royal family were much maligned, thankfully not the Queen and Prince Phillip. Meghan is the consummate actress and portrayed herself as not being taken seriously enough when she was suffering from depression et al. Refer to the interview which took place on the 7 March and judge for yourself. How sad that it has turned out to be so acrimonious. I am a South African and love the Royal family.

Excellent interview! Congratulations to Steven Edginton, who is a far, far better interviewer than most of those we see on the main TV channels. He understands his role; and he allows the interviewee to speak. And, of course, Charles Moore is his usual authoritative self.

I think we are hurt because we defended Megan and supported her when other people were against her Now they have no security or privacy the place they are staying in Canada is surrounded by reporters some with long range cameras that can see in the house I worry about little Archie xxx

@@evelynfullerton9136 I don't think it's the pictures that tormented the Duke& Dutchess. It's the words in print. The Canadian media may not be as cut throat. Canadians as a whole are known to be very very polite. So the long range cameras aren't the issue.

Excellent interview !! I am seeing the whole situation differently now. I am in OZ and I do like the Royals but they’re more entertaining than anything !! What I see now is Harry is making a mistake. He is allowing her to make a mistake for him, this will go down in history. It shows mismanagement and a lack of respect !! I predict he will come back alone, she will spit him out and move on within a few years !!

Too bad they have baby Archie now. If they end up splitting then Archie will suffer for sure. Divorces are never an ideal situation for any kids to be in. I feel bad for Archie. He doesn't get to be around his royal family and play with his royal cousins and his future is certainly unpredictable for now.

Great interview with an old fashioned (a compliment) intellectual journalist interested in analysis rather than creation of a social media response. I'm an anglophilic Australia who despaired at the degeneration of Britain's fantastic heritage in its accession to globalism and the EU. Maybe you'll care more about true British values rather than obsession with money and allowing Islamists to occupy working class towns.

ME TOO (ANGLO/AUS) BUT I DO BELIEVE THE UK WILL BE PULLED BACK FROM THE BRINK - DESPITE CHARLIE BEING A BIT NAIVE, BORIS IS A BULLDOG AND HOPEFULLY WHOMEVER COMES AFTER HIM WILL BE EQUALLY BULLISH.
