Not only did you know your shit ,but you would have been one hell of a mentor to someone who was scared shitless every day . They say the hero's are the ones that didn't come home, and they are. How ever the ones that never get a mention are the ones that extended as they could have went back to the world and forgot the whole thing. But they stayed on and taught the FNGs the ropes which probably saved a lot of American lives .
