Road trip northbound on the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) through the southwest suburbs of Chicago, IL. This is the opposite direction of the very first video of this channel! This expressway is a southern extension of I-355 that opened Veterans Day weekend 2007 (hence the name). The rest of 355 opened in 1989 but this is the southern extension that opened in 2007. You'll notice how the landscape rolls around like crazy. The whole southwest side of the Chicago area is like that. It is a mix of woods and prairie out here. Enjoy the ride!
