I see you have gone over to the 'Dark Side' Dan....I think you will find that the shoulders strap will work better on the top D rings as it will interfere with the tools in the semi rigid side pouches. Love my VetoXL bag and had it for years, far better than the competition, in every way. Yes, tried Klein, Irwin, Stanley, Bahco, CK ,Facom, Toughbuilt and many others over the years, lots of years. My 'go to' soft tool belt/shoulder pouch is a Kuny's.. I rate them. My first tool bag as an apprentice was an army surplus gas mask bag, lasts about a year then replace, no pouches and for sure the tool you wanted always seemed to be at the bottom !!
If by dark side you mean blackout edition then yeah lol. Everyone was telling me I had to try these bags and you have to give the people what they want. I will admit I am a total convert
I used one for a bit. I really thought it was an odd size for what I tried to use it for so I gave it to a buddy. Hes used it for years now when he works on cranes. It's big enough to carry everything he needs but is small enough that he doesn't worry about weight.
Thanks mate, I appreciate that. I think any bag is the same of a high quality. If you want the quality materials then the weight is an unavoidable evil. Though you won't get that issue with this bag.
@@danstoolroom7700 true that but I used to use the tech xl for years but it holds so much it was killing walking round site. Cut down to the tp xl now with the mb2 fixed to the side.
@@danstoolroom7700 I used the top d rings on the mp feed the handle through the main d ring on the bag then got a belt key ring hook off amozan and put that on the tape mount on the bag so the bottom of the mb belt hook fits onto it. The handle takes the weight the clip just keeps it against the side of the bag.
@@danstoolroom7700 I have the old ( pre blackout ) one . I carry a Fluke 117 , a pile of leads , and a Fluke T6 1000 in it , plus a few other things , I have an MB3 , used mostly fore Video , data , and voice stuff . If I get rich and get a Fluke Scope / Meter , it should fit in there too ! Veto has great build quality , and they keep bringing out new/ improved stuff ( hard on the bank balance
To do is you don't have the tape measure clip on the back clip that on to your tool Master backpack on that part of the clip so if you need a special team meter you can clip that to that and carry your backpack and your meter bag
@@danstoolroom7700 autocorrect is the enemy of my life I should proofread these things, the clip that is on the back of the bag can go on to the tape measure clip of your velocity rogue or Klein tool Master backpack
Thanks mate already had the same feedback of epic air funny enough and I have altered them accordingly. That said I did that and some others complained they wanted the long vids again lol cant please everyone I guess
No nothing like that I merely said they were. A lot of veto reviews out there. However my subs kept telling me I had to try these bags so had to give the people what they wanted. I will admit I am now also a veto fan boy. I have two others and I've actually been using them for a while
