Thanks for the video. When you have time can you please give us an update video on using the welder? It would be great to hear any recommendations you have on the settings and usage and of course how you like it.
Hey AJ you weren't wrong about saying the instructions don't tell you am m anything, because they don't,neither one of the model types in the leaflet book correspond to the mig-130 i found that out last night when i proceeded to setting up for operation, anyway good video man
Picked up the same welder today and as you said the instructions are useless. Is the feeder supposed to start as soon as you press the trigger? Mine doesn't do anything when pressing the trigger so it must be defective or I'm choosing an incorrect switch setting.
Yea it should come out. Got to make sure you have the wire feed adjustment screw tensioner is tight enough to move the wire on the inside of the box . Its on the right side of the spoil
Did you straighten out the wand? Did you clip off the end of the wire before you started feeding it? Did you remove the nipple on the gun then reinstall it when it passes through? Did you tighten the feed nob?
@@ajcutler3472 I got it to start feeding through. I’m not exactly sure, but I think it was the amps were too low, once I turned it higher it started to feed. If I recall correctly
The "Volts" knob controls the wire speed on many of the inexpensive flux core & multifunction Chinese welders, so I'd expect that to be the case with this. Guess I'll know soon enough, I just bought one directly from Vevor. Well, I got it and the instruction manual "clearly points out" that the amperage knob controls the wire speed on the Vevor 130A. This is what the manufacturers refer to as a "synergic" control, whereby two or more "interconnected" functions are controlled by the same knob or switch.
