Morning Matty, Thanks for the review......FYI.....I am NOT a fan of the plethora of cheap Chinese products, however.......If you are in the market for a drill sharpener, I HIGHLY suggest the one Vevor markets (MR13-B) , Ive had mine now for 8+ months....absolutely amazing in what it does and the results are spot on....the one detractor, the instructions suck the big one. Several others on you tube reviewed it and show what they figured out.....but overall for product quality and reliability....you cant beat the cost....BTW....the measurements for the drills are in metric not BANANAS, comes with 11 ER20 collets thru 13 mm.....plus comes with a mounted in machine CBN wheel as well as an additional diamond wheel for sharpening cobalt and or carbide drills...does 118deg and 135deg points as well as split points......try it you'll LOVE it....sure as hell beats $600 + or more for a compatible sharpener. All the best, Don
I have 2 of these. Makes rotating tires fast. They came in handy when putting the transmission back in the crane. But, I still won't promote them on my channel. They only wanted me to use the tools they want.
Vevor seems to sell a number of lower cost items yet with reasonable quality. I’ve seen other RU-vidrs doing some reviews and often surprised at the bang for the buck. Thanks.
Hi Matt. I know some do not the free stuff but when the tool works, saves time and at a good price it's great you offer us a video. With my floor jack the bloody thing wacked the side of the car and cost plenty to have repaired. Another thing who knew they sold such items. You look a lot thinner in this vid hope all is going ok.
Gday, I’m not a fan of doing review videos but if it’s something that I’ll use and I can see others using them I consider it, I have lost a fair bit of weight since starting chemo, but more off me guts would be alright to mate, cheers
Went to the European site, they only have up to 5 tons but they are all sold out 😒, shipping isn't that bad either. But I would need one that can go under lower cars myself and they do have some models to choose from. Thanks Matty, cheers! 👍💪✌
Hi Matty. Our local tyre shop uses them all the time. Great piece of kit. Glad you did this as soon i'll be doing my 2 post car lift vids. Wish they would give me it free. Not a chance. Steve.
Gday, I say it how it is and what I find, if I like it I’ll show it, I’m not keen on doing reviews but if it’s something I can use here and suited to the channel I consider it, cheers
I'm not against these types of videos .. sometimes a guy doesn't know he needs something until he sees it! I'm in the same boat as you ... 25 yr old worn out floor jack that I don't trust anymore, and have put off buying a new one ... 6 Ton is overkill for me, but I'm definitely going to see what other smaller sizes they have available. Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Hi Matty. Hope all is well with your health 👍 Just ordered the 5ton air jack. Did not have the 6 ton as in your video. Looks like a good thing. At my age anything that makes things easier is good. Take it easy Greg Ulladulla
Thanks for this, I think I prefer the old pump jack, using oil, from memory to lift the vehicle up. Oil would possibly take longer to exit the unit than oil. Just my thoughts.
Those air Jacks are fantastic Matty. My son uses similar ones in his job. They uses them to lift train carriages on the London Underground Metro system. Very handy. Cheers Nobby
Good to see ya Matty, hey i have experience with the air jacks and absolutely love em! Working in the body shop and on the frame rack i used them constantly daily with alot of jobs! Thanks for sharing mate!👍❤️🙏 Blessings Peace &Grace be with you
@@MattysWorkshop One thing is the setting of them, they can be unstable just be under a good jacking point and that it's square in! You'll use the heck outta of it!👍😁
I'm pretty impressed with that Matty, that's a fairly good bit of gear. The fact that your ute is about under half of the rated six tonnes is in your favour as far as safety is concerned, and it handled your vehicle with ease. Plus the fact it didn't drop one millimetre in half and our is very impressive. That's a keeper for sure. I for one don't mind the review videos from my subscribed channels. As long as it's relevant to the type of content that channel put out I'm ok with it. If it's not, as you say, just don't watch it. Cheers Matty, Sam
This look like a good piece of kit Matty. I don't mind product reviews, I find them helpful. I have brought tools etc. based on what others have said in a review. I have also not brought tools because the reviewer has shown the issues with particular tools.
Hello Matty, Great review. I have wanted to make one since I saw the one JonathanW made but had yet to find a bladder. That was pretty impressive. Might just have to buy one. All the best!
The only thing I'm puzzled about is the placement of the wheels. They should have been on the same end as the handle so you could tilt it back to move it and also make it easier to move under your vehicle if your working on dirt or gravel.
Vevor have some pretty good stuff, which will not break the bank. This air jack looks really good, and is much less physically demanding. Thanks Matty, good, honest review. Keep safe and well, regards to family. 👍👍
Gday, the couple of reviews I’ve done I really can’t complain about the items and quality especially for the hobbyists who doesn’t have a big budget to play with, cheers
do a review get stuff yar why not mate have bin looking at those air jacks and was unsure but lifted your Ute up okay good height from where you had the jack good weight over it also watching this i would probably get one if i had a use for one that is thanks Matty for your honest opinion
I got one over a year ago to lift my twin cab Ranger (2007 European, Similar to the Mazda). I'm fairly impressed with it. Hope you and the family are doing well mate? Take care and we'll see you on the next one.
G'day Matty, bloody nothing wrong there mate, blimey bet that old trolley jack is older than water 😂 Love my air jack, quick easy and strong as an ox Keep on doing these reviews Matty, everyone benefits 👍
Gday Ralfy, I can’t complain about the old trolley jack, it’s had a lot of abuse over the years, it’s lasted like a champ to be honest, thanks for watching mate
Good review Matty…. as usual with your stuff … zero bullshit 👍 I bought a little Vevor milling vice. Pretty good compared to most Chinesium stuff . Keep Punchin’ mate, Robert
Gday Robert, no bullshit here mate, I'm thinking of getting a Vevor vice to see how good they are (might go well on Trevors mill to😉), see what happens, Cheers
G’day Matty. Thanks for the honest review mate. How hard would it be to remove the handle bracket and move it across between the wheels? Have a good one 👍🇦🇺
Hi Matty, hope you're keeping well. Interesting video about an interesting jack. I know they've been around a while but I'm not entirely convinced. What were your thoughts before you tried it? How about a trolley jack rebuild video now? Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
Gday, being a retired truck driver I’ve used these types of jacks a lot hence why I went with the biggest I could get, better to be to big then not big enough for what I do here, I haven’t thought about doing a rebuild video on the old jack before, probably not a bad idea mate, cheers
They also use these on large farm irrigators, they are essentially bus air suspension bags, there is nothing inside, it relies on the concertina effect of the 3 reasonably thick bellows, they are not recommended if you don't have a flat floor for the jack and also what is being lifted
good day , it's not worth much , when the rubber cracks it'll be good for the garbage can , because no spare parts , already in Europe it's not available anywhere .
*_Yeah sorry but I don't trust that at all. I don't like the low quality vevor produces. Those valves on the handle look cheap. As time goes on the rubber is going to harden and crack. I seriously doubt that will last 20 years of shop use. Further, that isn't going to fit under normal passenger cars let alone be able to reach the lift points due to its wide footprint. I'd just buy a new hydraulic jack. It goes without saying no matter what jack used, always use jack stands for safety._*
