Sanding is good for your arms. Wet sand a whole car and your arm skin will tighten right up 🥴

The only thing holding me back from buying something like this is the filters. I'm always afraid that the company will disappear a week after I buy the machine. Be nice if filters were standardized and not proprietary to each brand

These sort of are... Global Industrial sells the same item but more $ and they have the filters too - more $ again. 16x16 is a very common size too - furnace filters or even carbon filters :)

Are there different filters available for welding? Those will be black and clogged real fast... Awesome machine

I use a (cheap) 16x16 furnace filter as a pre filter to take the brunt of the fumes. The charcoal filter is the key. You'll want to keep some of those in stock. When painting, the pre-filter does get dirty but the others stay relatively clean. Hope that helps a bit.

I like to have it right next to me when welding, sanding or anything poisonous. Keeps the heat in the building too if you use it as an air purifier/scrubber 😊

Actually there is not enough fumes or explosive material to cause an explosion - believe it or not. You need an absolute ton of fumes for it to be close to causing a fire from a spark. Good thinking though :)

I like the overall idea of this unit, and the cost is reasonable. If it will take ordinary Home Depot furnace filters then it would be ideal for convenience and maybe price too. Please post an update on the "practicality" of the unit as you use it - I'm wondering how quickly the single filter surface will begin to clog. There is a "Change HEPA Filter" light. Hopefully it uses a sensor vs a run-timer, as I don't see any other indicator to show when the fan motor might begin laboring from needing a filter change. Merry Christmas Jerry!

I have a bigger unit and after painting a car the pre-filter was pretty dirty and the change filter light went on - that pre-filter is $10. I figure that's not too bad for keeping the fumes out and the neighbors happy. The rest of the filters were fine - hepa showed a tiny bit of discoloration - the first one takes the brunt. I'll do a follow up video one day on it though. You can get 16X16 furnace filters anywhere too - if you can find them super cheap for the pre-filter. Merry Christmas to you too my friend 🎄🎅🎉

I've never used that specific welder but any MILLER MIG welder I've ever used worked great. They're top quality, simple to use and they just work good.

Filter replacements come from VEVOR - www.vevor.com/, global industrial, or your own. I use a 16x16 furnace filter as a pre filter to save on the other filters :)

1 is more than enough. There is variable speed also if you need to increase or decrease the exhaust.

Yes. I paint cars in a garage with a wood stove burning so, you're good to go. The concentration of explosive gases has to be extremely large for there to be problems. I used to work with a guy who sprayed primer with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth - no flames 😄

@@LakesideAutobody That's nonsense. Volatile vapors are dangerous. They are heaver than air and will collect exactly where you have that machine positioned. It's not UL approved or OSHA approved.

Just in case... a paint booth doesn't eliminate dust in a paint job . A paint booth does suck fumes out of the room - like this air scrubber. Many booths now have to have an air scrubber for the fumes that exit the building - this has that too. The only thing that makes a booth better is the lighting on the walls of the booth - you can really see how you are laying the paint on. Hope that makes sense - Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🎉
