Looks like a great buy. You can get by with ok lightning when wrenching and building engines. However I learned the hard way years back that when it comes to bodywork and paint you need all the light you can get! My car looked great in the garage after I painted it. Although when I got it outside in daylight, it was a different story! I wasn't happy.😆
I have a variac transformer that I use for a number of electric devices, it gives a very smooth adjustment of power output. I've even used the kind of led light bulbs that were not variable and they will adjust right down to about one third brightness. It might be ideal for what you have there. These are a very useful tool to own when you want dependable variable control on just about anything electrical.
WOW!! I have a Craftsman set of halogen lights that looks like exactly the same system. Other than yours being LED!! I used them several times in 09' when getting the house remodelled before moving in, and again about a week ago when I changed over all my fluorescent 4' bulbs to LED's... What a MONSTER difference!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend going LED..
Thanks for the info! My old fluorescent bulbs and lights are definitely tired. I’m planning a large shop clean out soon, where I get rid of the clutter, and paint the inside of the shop doors a brighter color. They’ve had years of dirt and funk. Some yahoo was setting up his paint gun on them 🥸
@@PeckerwoodKustoms I got the A/c charged, radio in, oil cooler installed. Lastly is tuning, hood, and installing sure grip and 2.76 gears instead of 2.94. He wants to cruise the interstate.
Great afternoon to you JMJ! I was wondering how long since the short yesterday. Okay lunch time and JMJ watch and share with everyone in the lunch room and then I will pass it on.
I have a old set from Craftsman from 25 years ago and I will say awesome investment and I use it for light and heat especially when it is cold and heating up the garage. It's bright and it has 2 settings my old halogen bulb job.
I’m becoming a believer. The trippy thing is, when the overhead light shines through the engine bay, it looks like 10 puddles on the ground. I was nervous for a minute.
@@JustMoparJoe then I will say what I always tell the guys at work at always win stuff from the over stacked Snap On guy. You have it made and I would burn my cash if I had yours. LOL, feel free to use that quote anytime you like. I come up with that one years ago.
