Hello there nice video. I have a major problem maybe you have a tip. On one of my co2 mags the right lip has broken and I have no clue how to fix it or get a replacement. It´s not completely off but no way to glue it IMO. and on one mag the right lip broke off. On wgc I only find left magazine ceiling plates. daaaaamn
It is available here: www.redwolfairsoft.com/umarex-vfc-mp5-co2-magazine-bb-tube-right.html I do not believe glue or an adhesive would hold up. If it were me, I would replace with a new part.
thx man you saved me :) I ordered some. And also the crusader feeding ramp. I got a V1 for very cheap but now I ordered the V2 kit etc. and some other stuff. I hope I don´t regret it. @@aetechairsoft
There is also a problem that the left feed lip side is a little bit loose + the bolt carrier has some wabble in it self, which causes the nozzle to sometimes hit the left feed lip and get damaged.
Your guide is very helpful, though i cannot seem to stop these magazines from leaking. I'm about to trash them and just buy new ones. Even getting a new release valve for too much money didn't fix it.
@@aetechairsoft both in the baseplate as well as top. I tried everything from soaking the rubbers in silicone and an attempt at sealing them with automotive grade gasket maker but to no avail. I found a single new release valve, this one seems to hold up well but the rest just lets go soon as i inject some gas.
It's difficult to diagnose online, but these mags generally have good sealing performance, so something seems amiss. Leaks at the Top of the mag really only have a few common causes, and they all revolve around the release valve. The O-rings need to be clean with no particulates, no tiny rips or tears or any other form of damage. If they're damaged, replace the o-rings with new ones from theoringstore.com. The o-rings should get a very, very thin layer of grease around them before you reinstall the valve into the magazine body. The armature (the moving piece in the release valve) should be checked for particulates on the inside of the release valve or around the seal. any dirt or other particles can cause leaks. If you use a dry gas without added lubricant, check the movement of the release valve armature as well. If it is sticking open or even feels sticky, it will leak when you try to fill the magazine with gas. A drop of silicone oil and a few cycles of the release valve should clear this up. Leaks at the bottom of the mag really have the same common causes. The bottom gasket should not have any rips or tears. The inlet valve outer o-rings need to be in good shape, no damage or rips. Thin layer of grease on them before reinstalling, and the inlet valve should be threaded in very gently and without much torque or you can damage it. @@gebroedersvanbrabant7334
@@aetechairsoft thanks man, appreciate the help. The bottom plates dont seem to seal at any cost, the inlet valves are fine. For the top i suppose it's the release valves that are worn, but they're hard to find here. I got a single one from the UK for 25 euro's... Tbh i'm better off buying a new mag for 30 euro from hong kong..
For some reason, I can't get the outer shell off, even after removing the pin and valve. It simple won't budge no matter how hard I try pushing it out. Any ideas how I can remove it?
Sometimes they can be stubborn to get moving initially, but it should slide off. Is there any damage to the shell from dropping it (e.g. dents)? This could cause it to be tight to remove. You could try tapping it out with a mallet and something soft to use as a punch; just be careful not to damage anything.
