hook 66 over abalene @ 1033 local , vft amarillo to san antonio, the 1033 local what is that? the time? wouldn't they have the time anyway? or is that because you are communicating in between different time zones. help me understand what the obvious might be in this case...this is a great video..i just love this stuff.
Most time in aviation is UTC or Zulu time to avoid confusion with time zones. In this example, telling them that you’re not using Zulu time, you’re going off local time.
