Yeah but there's a scene when Bucky jumps out of a balcony which feels really CGI and unrealistic. It's in episode 4 or 5 when they fight karli and that guy is killed with the shield
This might’ve not been a huge foreshadowing but the scene in Winter Soldier where Sam tells Fury that he does what Caps does, just slower. Seems like a little nod that Sam would later be donned Captain America.
@@Abhishek-gs3jn Moment where Cap told Fury that Hydra & Shield goes down, together. Fury looked at everyone in the room. Sam was the last one he looked at. That’s when Sam told him “don’t look at me man. I do what he does, just slower.”
I think the difference is the same as the difference between the second Captian America movie (Winter Soldier) and Dr. Strange. Both VFX were impressive, but had different purposes. Dr. Strange's was meant to be mind-bending and crazy, and it accomplished that. Winter Soldier's was meant to be immersive and make everything feel real. Same here. Loki will be crazy. The VFX will be out of this world, I'm sure. TFATWS, however, was meant to be immersive. It was in the little stuff, like the fixing of the spandex or the spray of wood chips when the shield strikes a tree. Different goals. Hope that clarifies. Both are amazing in their own way.
The original shield may have belonged to the government, sort of. It was made by the Wakandans and cut up by Thanos II during Avengers Endgame. The shield Sam received definitely did not belong to the government. It was made by the Wakandans as a gift for Steve, who gave it to Sam, who LENT it to the Smithsonian. The government took it from the museum, without Sam’s permission, and gave it to John Walker.
This attention to detail is why the MCU is always one step ahead of everyone else. The writing/directing on FWS unfortunately wasn’t their best work, maybe because of quarantine lockdowns, but the effects were definitely amazing. Nice work team.
They don't get enough credit, really. They are the actual heart of the MCU, we wouldn't have what we have without them. The actors bring the characters to life sure, but the world they are immersed in and their heroics wouldn't hit the same without these guys. And its not easy, I took some classes in this stuff just in high school and it was hard as hell, I barely passed. I can't imagine what it like in uni and beyond, let alone the MCU.
After All these years,...These VFX artists don't get much credits and recognitions like movie actors...But actually they are the real Superheroes who make these superhero movies look cool and awesome!!.. Great Work VFX buddies!!! Infinite Love from India❤️
Most interesting VFX work that I liked was the suit made to stay close to his face without wrinkling. It's a very small detail, without VFX would've been very noticeable.. Kudos to the entire team.
This series was so great. I'm not surprised at all about the hard work, creativity and painstaking attention to detail that went into it. Kudos to the VFX team.
Dude that’s some awesome FX work. I had no idea that truck scene with the GRC members had some outstanding VFX. I though the rigs were blue screen but not the whole setting
Ever since seeing 2012 Cap in Endgame, I’ve been saying they need to make it part of their pipeline to use CGI for his skin-tight helmet. Then, low and behold, in Sam’s suit, they do. 👍
One one goof I found: There was no wind resistance against Sam when he was on the top of the cockpit of the plane. He should have had wind resistance = to Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible holding on for dear life.
No, if you watch the scene carefully, you can see that even though the wings retract, the jetpack remains powered to match his velocity to the plane's.
Sam flew onto the plane, it would be right to assume that he wouldnt have any air res if he literally flies at that same speed lol, he prolly uses his jetpack and boost himself at the same speed of the plane
I sure did miss the suit VFX. Super clean job. Question: How was Sam able to lift the truck with his muscles despite having the power from the jetpack?
I want to know how the shield throes were fone; how'd they do the shield ricocheting off those trees! and off the flag smashers! Those were spectacular shots!
Why would the vfx be a turn off in the specific genre fo super hero movies? So if I tell you that horror movies have vfx you wouldn't have liked it? Lmao
Some of the shots even fooled me completely. The digital people are getting better and better. That used to be a dead giveaway. A lot of shots I just thought were on wire harnesses but some were 100% digital. Set extensions have been mastered though, you have no idea what part of a set is real/fake any more.
@@aakashsaini2526 Well this isn’t coming from just me. From what I heard in some articles, people who worked behind the show described it as tight since they started production around the WandaVision finale, and that show had a $225 million budget and incorporated tons of effects (especially the finale), so it was hard for them to figure out what incorporate a lot in Falcon and the Winter Soldier while WandaVision was still going on, albeit nearing its conclusion with tons of VFX and CGI.
@@donovan802 I don't know where you heard this stuff but it was probably from some clickbait sites like we got this covered etc. Wandavision budget was probably around $150 million too. That $225 million came from clickbait sites too that just multiplied $25 million per episode to 9 episodes. This budget (per episode) is even much higher than shows like Got
