Oh cool I got a shout-out. I remember this challenge being pretty fun to plan out and attempt but also punishing and time-consuming. It's definitely one of my proudest achievements. I've done no damage single segment runs of the first three games and the difficulty definitely ramps up for each. The third is a real doozy. I always wanted to do a perfect run of 4. Maybe some day...
so apparently he turns into an alien "to confuse megaman" its only a hologram... what sort of plan is that? "YES MEGAMAN I AM AN ALIEN" "why are you a flickering hologram?" "HOW DID YOU KNOW"
@@lunatheluma3804 I heard on a review video that capcom didn't want a sequel, so the devs had to work on it on their own free time and with a crazy deadline on top of that. I tried doing a search to confirm this, but all I got were articles about mega man legends 3, so take this info with a grain of salt (i didn't search very hard, however). Personally, I choose to believe this as true, since capcom has already killed a few mm spin-off series because the games didn't do as well as they wanted.
I never bought a propertie on Monopoly lol I won 1 round my hole life and I can't use a crying gif I I can't find a crying emoji nooo have to use the normal sad face before the emojis :(
Chance cards and jail. Use those, you can't pay tax whole in jail and you can get money by community chest and chance cards, some of which even put you in jail!
@@whyfightweallbreatheair He may have known, it’s just that he may have wanted to say that cuz some people (like me) understand the joke but it will bug us if we don’t say something about the truth about something (like a joke misspelling or making a joke about a false fact.)
It's incredible watching this post-Rockman 3 and how much Champ has mellowed out over the years. She's so frenetic here, but the snark really shines later on.
Vg myths on heatman stage: we are nowhere near ready to take on air man Also vg myths after beating 1 stage after heatman: we’re ready to take on airman
GamingCloud 95 if you mean him using the weapon menu at 10:30 it’s not the same thing as the pause menu in the first game it doesn’t let you do damage because your weapon doesn’t stay on screen like in the old game allowing you to completely kill a boss with 1 shot by just pausing over and over all this does is make you immune to any damage for a very short period of time so technically he’s in the right
It took me almost a year to realize that Gamechamp missed the golden opportunity to say "where we deal with rock busters, not myth busters" in the opening.
Quick Man isn't nearly as random as he seems. He does have three set jump heights that he will cycle between three times before making a dash towards you. If he touches the left or right corner, he will likely jump 2 times. On his second jump, or first corner jump, he will throw boomerangs. When he runs, the boomerangs will beeline towards you as well. Also, thanks for giving Roahmmythril a shout out. He's great!
Dear milady Gamechamp3000, I've just read the "viewer discretion is advised for epileptic people" prompt in your video. Rockman 2 was my first videogame, and the one that triggered my epilepsy 26 years ago. I played that game almost every two or three days, and I was used to see that flashing screen. Seeing you care about our well-being fills my heart with joy, and repairs my faith in humanity with duct tape. Love ya and your videos. Hugs!
Touching the boss door while the game lags sends you to the next stage in the games memory, for example, sending you to a few wily stages, just still with air man's graphics
“The long forgotten secret technique of avoiding the ouchies” How? She has mastered the ancient art despite being but a mortal... how Edit: took a year for me to remember pronouns existed
How...? Even attempting that technique takes a huge toll on your body- people have DIED trying that technique! Edit: I just realized 1 year later that I'm technically right joke or no joke... why
You know, there's a glitch for infinite ammo. For Metal Blade, Bubble Lead, and Quick Boomerang, they have a few shots before their energy depletes by 1. What you have to do is use them by the number before the number their energy depletes (In other words, use Bubble Lead once, Metal Blade thrice, and Quick Boomerang 7 times), then open the weapons menu and close it, then do it again and again and you will notice that their energy never depletes.
It isn't THAT hard if you get him to run against the ledge while you spam clash bombs and then switch to time freezer before he even gets to jump and throw boomerangs
So when Gamechamp said not to comment about Pipi I thought she was talking about some name shenanigans, then I looked at the comments. Yeah ok fair enough.
Fun Fact: That glitchy area you went to when you touched the boss door while on item 1 was actually a glitchy version of a Wily stage, which happens with all boss doors if you have item 1, and as far as I know it’s different for all of them.
Adam Livneh well, since you can control what moves your partner can use by disabling the moves you don't want to be used, it may not be as hard it sounds. Also, assuming the player can still use items (and tactics) you could theoretically assist and control the partner no problem.
It’s impossible. In battle, spirits are optional, but it will be hell. However, you need to use a spirit to get into the base. There’s no other way in.
Not possible. After the boss rematch room, there is a room with powerups and a 1Up,where the game lags no matter what. That is,if the run is still alive up to this point.
@@kingdedede5570 I've been playing Megaman 2 since it came out and yes you can. It makes the "dink" noise of invulnerability, but they always jump over your head as long as you fire the tornados at the moment they should jump.
@@kingdedede5570 Ah, I was partly wrong. The tornados trigger the jump but you have to stop after you fire to let them make the jump. Your forward movement is too fast to avoid running into the start of their leap otherwise. Regardless, it's a foolproof way to always get through undamaged. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7z6LJmteBLg.html
@@mizmels1 why did you even make that comment there’s no purpose in literally saying stop posting comments that people laugh about and can have a nice 5 seconds of happiness
VG Myth Idea: Can you beat "Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow" without any equipment? Souls that attack are banned too but souls in the blue and yellow category are fair game.
I know somebody else said this, but you really should do it. Beat Kirby Star Allies without the life counter moving up OR down Edit: not counting the friend areas Edit 2: All in one run >:]
Gamechamp and me: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED (The reason i said and me is because Im very good at no hit runs in video games. I beat Rockman 4 without getting hit already, I just can't record on my tablet's RU-vid for some reason
I am triggered. Literally fucking shaking that you would *accuse* me of accusing you. It is cultural appropriation to claim to be allergic to death and not be a banana. Smh
"This route unfortunately require you to do the entire disappearing block maze without Item #2, but Airman happens to have that and we are nowhere near ready to take him on." *airman ga taosenai starts playing aggressively*
Fallout: New Vegas has boxer's tape and boxer's gloves. They don't kill, they instead knock people out. I suppose with a high strength and endurance build you can do it.
12:28 You can make this level even easier. Hold right when the level starts until you are at the right wall. Drop down and now you can just run forward continuously and none of the drops will land before you pass them.
7:58 i hate to be "that guy". but I found using the Leaf Shield in this room to be much faster and just as safe as the strategy you used in this video Still, that was a great watch! Thank you ^^
I posted this on the 3d world video already, but you're more likely to see it here. Run idea: 3d world... Without the catsuit. This may seem easy to you but trust me, this run has ruined me. Every climbing star, every cat goomba... The rules are simple: Don't grab a bell, and if you do, get rid of it immediately. As a bonus challenge, no tanuki suit. Hint: many moons that require a small wall climb are obtainable with a wall jump as big mario. Also, the fire flower is your best friend. Have fun- I didn't.
12:10 Why such an exact shot? Because his second-phase attacks are almost impossible to avoid. RoahmMythril, the guy he name-drops at the end of the video, can attest to this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q4QSCfQVgfo.html
Good morning everyone, and welcome to VG Myths! The show where we make 15 minute tutorials and use over the top strats in order to play games how they are supposed to be played!
The Mildly Shocked Sunflower that is true and can kind of need to use the power ups for Dark Ages. Kind of does ruin the point of the run seeing as the power ups would be kind of needed. Still thanks for mentioning it!
12:37 CORRECTION: Wily is not an alien, he was controlling a hologram that looked like a alien, after you defeat him when the room lights up the alien was that pink cube floating around
Maybe that's why he's weak to bubbles. The water of the bubbles is short circuiting his hologram. Though under that logic couldn't anything break the hologram?
I don’t think Rockman (Mega Man) 3 is possible without taking damage for a number of reasons. 1. You have to refight all the bosses from MM 2, including Air Man and Quick Man. As far as I know, there isn’t any way to cheese the refights like Gamechamp did in MM 2. I mean, theoretically, it may be possible, but it would require extremely good RNG. You would have to learn how to RNG right before you could do it. 2. Snake Man. Snake Man is pretty hard to get through without getting hit, but maybe you can manage. 3. Unless you can find a sort of loophole for the final boss, it is plain impossible. The weakness of the final boss is a weapon that, if hit, also damages you, due to it being a contact damage weapon. (Too fast? Pixel perfect hit? Invincibility glitch?) Edit on the third one: I discovered that the final boss is also weak to Snake Man’s weapon. While the final boss would be very hard, it might also be possible. Edit on all: I found out that Nintendo Unity did all of the bosses without damage. For Airman, you have to abuse slide. For quickman you still have to learn to RNG right. For Snakeman, you have to use his weakness and kill him before he really becomes hazardous. For Gamma, you have to use Snake Man’s weapon, jump down next to the damage area, then spam as many snakes as you can.
I always kill Gamma no damage with Top Spin. Here's the trick: Use Rush Jet and place yourself right on top of Gamma's head; after that, change to Top Spin and spam B. Since you change to Top Spin, Rush Jet despawns and you fall to his head, and since you are spamming B, it's guaranteed you will hit him Curious fact: Top Spin actually damages Gamma for 2, just like Search Snake; however, due to how Top Spin and the frames it counts work, it damages him every frame, basically doing 28 damage to him. Something similar that happens because of how Top Spin works is how you can run out of it with one use against bosses
The chicken enemies in wood mans stage are actually pretty easy to avoid in my experence. Just walk a little bit to the left as they get close to you to bait their jump, then walk under. Works every time
I'm not so sure about the Alien thing. Looks like at the end it was just a light show by Dr. Wily. Could be wrong, never played an actual Megaman, just X and Legends.
It's just a hologram projected by that machine flying in a figure 8. That's why it's only weak to the Bubble Lead: the water's short circuiting it since it wasn't given the same level of attention as an actual robot.
