@@michielzweers8944 I think they might be working on a grand right now, because that would be one of the most likely move from them, and I can imagine they are working on a C7 or CFX or something similar. I would with for a Steinway (D I guess), but I think VI Labs are really specialized specifically at clean piano sound, and Yamaha C7 is a really clean sounding (maybe metallic, but clean throughout the keyboard), one of the most neutral sounding pianos are Yamahas (C7 particularly), That is one of the reasons why many piano competitions are held using a Yamaha C7, because regardless of metallic sounding, it is still one of the most neutral sounding piano, so most type of music sounds just great on it. Maybe some romantic music would sound better on a Bösendorfer for example, but Bösendorfer would be not the best choice for let's say a baroque fugue, but Yamaha C7 can handle both great. That's what I think thought, it's just my 2 cents. :) I'm sure that the people working VI Labs will do an exceptional job at their next product, probably even more improved sound, whatever it will be.

Backup , it will surprise you. That was one of the first things I also thought but in reality it sounds much bigger in an intimate way. The mic positions are a real standout which give the library extra versatility. Also VI Labs use of the UVI engine is exceptional and does not get in the way. The cinematic presets are really amazing. I have had it a couple of days working on a livestream review on my channel which should be a lot of fun.
