Tbf Viktor is retconned by Arcane, and so is Jayce, Ekko, Heimerdinger etc Not to mention characters not present in the story, like Ziggs, Camille, Seraphine, Orianna...
@@MrIljuha2000 Not really that much of a retcon, tbh. Viktor was from Zaun, but made it to Piltover, the big difference is that they stole his research and made him depressed and decides to go back to Zaun and help them out. Like Viktor is the creator of Biltz and if you know Blitz you know how good of a guy is. Viktor is just trying to help people in his own way. Jayce doesn't care much about Zaun and I think they are just fleshing out the reasons why they became what they are.
Riot literally had to spell out that Jinx was Vi's sister after dropping all kinds of hints. Like Jinx's original login screen is Vi'a login destroyed. Jinx, Vi, and Cait constantly referred to each other, so was quite laughable when everyone said Neeko was the first openly gay character... you know... despite Varus ALSO having a music video about how he's 2 gay guys and a Darken fused together released 6 months before her release.
@@animemark20 The music video that they are referencing when it comes to varus was released in 2017. Neeko was released on dec. 5, 2018. We aren't talking about the ingame reworks. We're talking about the lore drops/retcons.
People are so not gonna be prepared to find out about Warwick... In game he missed his ult under the tower gets a kill and survives Lets see what he does in the show
I hope Weewee is as game accurate as he is in Arcane Just soaking up punches from vi, traps and bullets from caitlyn, and bombs from jinx...gets to 1 hp and heals it back up
I had a very vague idea of what lol was but then i watched arcane and became obsessed so i did a deep five into the lore and started playing the game. I love it now but its very interesting that i had no idea that arcane was even related to lol
@@mrswhatdoyoucare2947 The game isn't that bad, and the community being toxic is also an over exaggeration. If you are nice to everyone they will be nice towards you :)
@@naimadevil9300 You are toxic. People like you are making joke of yourselves since you are the only ones who are toxic. As I said if you aren't toxic, your team won't be as toxic as well. Btw I can bet I played more lol than you XD So don't blame it on the game or the community, blame yourself for being toxic.
I actually started playing league after watching Arcane and got absolutely destroyed but had fun! But I also was surprised when I read Vi's description on league before the trailer even came out. Eventually transitioned to Dota 2 both games are very fun
To be completely fair with Vi look at Caitlin and tell me you wouldn't become a cop for her 😂 ..... On other matters I really want to se how Viktor goes from poor cute sick boy to "glorious evolution"
I see we're starting our "Vi defending" fanbase after all the complaints about her becoming an enforcer from twitter. 4 years was enough time for newbies to be prepared yet we still got them whines and moans.
There are a lot of people like that, which is amazing to me. Arcane having the reach it does is a direct result of it being incredible separately from being attached to a property as big as league
I’m moreso curious as to how they’re even going to do this with everything they’ve established in season one. I trust that the writers know what they’re doing when it comes to this, I just wanna see how it’s going to happen
After I got into arcane I started to learn about LoL lore and stuff because I just needed *More* after arcane finished. Was very surprised Vi is canon police badass but have been excited to see when/where it happens for her in arcane! Idk I like enforcer Vi, who better to become an enforcer than someone who knows how to be powerful and how NOT to treat people when you have power? Someone who grew up under the thumb of said power. I feel like she's meant to make the enforcers better
I first started out knowing league of legends by name, back in highschool I only ever heard the name, played the mobile game, graduated then started listening to the LoL worlds music aka Lil Nas x, Katy Perry, and others, mash upsand the official worlds songs they co opted since I was bored. I then started watching the Netflix series when it released. I've wanted to try the main game on PC but never around to it. 😅
She's mad they turned Powder into Jinx. Would make sense she'd wanna join forces with enforcers to avenge. Her innocent little baby sister is gone. Well, not completely gone, I'd like to believe. She's there, somewhere deep inside.
You can still know Vi is an enforcer and dislike it lol idk why people get mad whenever someone says they feel awful about Vi becoming one It was very clearly established in the first season she does NOT like enforcers. So her becoming one will probably be a great tool for inner moral struggles. And it will obviously be heartbreaking to watch. We're not supposed to be like "omg congratulations on the promotion queen 👏" lol
Unless they change her up from the current lore, no it wouldn't. She injurs innocent bystandes, destroys property, and goes straight to beating people up rather than detaining them. It's implied she doesn't really care about much anymore other than just having an excuse to punch people.
Y’all spoiled me Vander in comments of second season THANKS (I’ll do the same when Genshin anime comes out and I’m gonna spam Furina’s backstory and memes about her mommy issues. Hydro dragon hydro dragon don’t cry was long before Fontaine even came out so probably I’m not what evil hah)
I mean hell I don't know shit all about the game characters but her being an enforcer in season 2 is some of the most obvious shit imaginable. Come on. The "totally against them, they're all the same, I'm doing things my way and taking justice into my own hands!" Character then joining them to change things from the inside is one of the classic tropes, that's literally all over the place. Her being an enforcer or being a vigilante superhero type in zaun were really the only 2 options and vigilante superhero types don't really fit the storytelling of arcane.
I almost talked about old WW lore but I ran out of time. His new lore is much better, I'm pretty sure old lore was literally just drank unicorn blood and got cursed by soraka
I don’t think Dan and Swampy had any malicious intent with this episode (then again I’m cis, so maybe my opinion doesn’t matter as much), but the song’s lyrics are VERY uncomfortable
They did. In this particular case I think it was unwarranted but I get it. Riot games has a less than stellar track record in regards to social issues so I understand their decision to get ahead of something for once.
@@Semilamist And by doing so they're infantilizing them. If they have so little mental fortitude that mere words and phrases can make them mentally curl up in a fetal position, the worst thing they can do is keep them in it by perpetually shielding them so they'll never acclimate to any such stimuli.
The word enforcer reminds me of only one game: Mortal Kombat, and most of this is right, enforcer are mostly the same, but making police as "enforcers", is just BLM propaganda, in my opinion, if a policeman asks you to do something, OBEY, HE/SHE ARE THE LAW. If you don't resist everything would go OK, things would be cleared, and get an official apology if it was a wrong arrest. What you don't know is that that cop if it made a wrong arrest, it will be in trouble, he would be assessed again by internal affairs, hated by all cops. If it would find guilty, it would be demoted/fired, depends on the case. You need to stop listening to facebook and trust the law, it is there to protect you.
@@xCoatlicuex it's quite literally silcos fault, hell it's more vanders fault then jinx, hell it's more VI's fault then jinx, jinx is literally the least at fault party involved
Even in Season 1 Vii is basically on her road to becoming a cop/enforcer. Forget LOL she spends the entirety of Season 1 helping Caitlin and by extension the enforcers and fighting the Gangs of Zaun. What did people think the endgame of that would be? Especially when it escalates into full out war between The Gangs and the cops.
I think you should rewatch season 1. She spends 4 episodes a vagrant child or in jail, then spends the rest using Caitlyn's ambition to get out of jail to find her sister despite knowing she is the criminal cait is looking for. She then goes behind caits back to work with Jayce as a vigilante to hurt silco. She is very far from a cop the entire series.
@@flowchartk3n im currently rewatching season 1. She doesn't just use Caitlin she's genuinely helping her with her Research. And even when she goes Vigilante what does she actually do? Team up with a Counsellor and Go Rampage against Silcos gang. She'll basically be doing the same know just with a badge (there will more than likely be conflict about this)
@@OK-yy6qz my guy she is not "helping cait do research" she knows the second caitlyn shows her that its her sister and she intentionally does not reveal this so she can try and save her and prevent her getting thrown into jail. She is literally working against caitlyn, its the reason caitlyn feels betrayed by her when they finally meet up with jinx.
@@flowchartk3n even then she was about to help Caitlin to leave Zaun with the Gemstone. She Was practically BEGGING the council to Invade saying negotiation is impossible and when they refused she Joined Jayce and Started a raid. They even Killed Children during that raid (which Vii was fine with by the way) Jayce was the one shocked by it she was upset he wanted to stop the Raids. And when they part ways Jayce tells her "you won't make it alone" so i ask you once again Where exactly did you think her arc was going?
