This man drove many different vehicles up Highway of Tears, mostly vans with no windows, or curtains... one van had heavy duty chains hanging from the ceiling behind the pasenger seat. This man also owned a home in 100 Mile House where bodies circle a circumfrence around the property dating back to the 70's.
The RCMP never believed me or my child and treated us very badly. For the past 1.5 years I have been working endlessly on trying to bring public awareness to this story and hold the RCMP responsible for their negligence. No matter how many times this story is brought forth to them, they still refuse to listen.
12 years ago a man whom I had met in my foster home, and who had become like a father to me, and later like a grandfather to my child, was finally revealed by my daughter as being someone who was binding, torturing and raping her.... my daughter tells me extremely graphic details of murder.
Google Zodiac North and Voice for BC Victims to find my blogs that share this story. This is not about attention for myself, but about seeking justice for my little girl and for so many other families of missing murdered loved ones.
I hear your story melody. I am just an average Treaty 3 Aanishinaabe citizen from Kenora Ontario who now lives on the SK/MB Border. The RCMP will often refuse to listen to average citizens like you and I against more powerful of affluent local citizens. I hear you. This happens because of the RCMP's high rate of turn over. Please Please Please bring your concerns to a local Chief & Council...... A local Friendship Center or some other native organization. Or approach the Native court worker or translator for the court house in your area. Please. I beg you. If this is still a concern...don't give up in telling your story. Tell as many prominent native people that you can. Contact the National Inquiry Into Missing Women & Girls toll free at 1-844-348-4119 or call their crisis line toll free at 1-844-413-6649 I HEAR YOU! Please do something about this if this is still a concern!
