How this music was being procedurally generated by Unreal Engine 5 just proves how strong epic are at what they do. Not only does it prevent strikes for those who streamed it, it proves the capabilities of the engine in other feilds. Nice work epic!
So was nitro with his knowledge about it being procedurally generated but then forgot how to write field. But right he is. This is a nice step for gaming. And I don't think this was generated live. You can clearly hear breaks between loops, so this was probably pre-recorded.
This was honestly my favorite time in the game. Chapter 3 was special, and I’m glad to have been a part of it. That huge tree. The chrome tornado. I’ll probably always be super nostalgic about it.
If you didn’t know, this entire video features procedurally generated lo-fi music directly from Unreal Engine so people streaming didn’t get struck with copyright issues. Amazing work thinking of this Epic, we as creators truly appreciate this.
@@IsuiGtz essentially yes, it's literally building the song as it goes, you may notice some similar tunes or sections but the entire thing is completely randomly generated
This music honestly is good for looking back on all the fun you might have had throughout all the years. I truly hope Epic keeps Fortnite going, because maybe yes, it's nothing like what it used to be, but look at how far we have come, all the things we have done as a community. We all helped shape this game, for the better or worse, and to think about that is truly something special. We all built this game, and we all deserve to look back on what we did and be proud of it. Here's to the next season and hopefully more following, because this game is still so special to me. Keep on kicking, we have a lot ahead of us.
Ye, just saying, if epic was to shut down fortnite i feel like at a time like this, because of all the progress we've made in this game, i feel like they'd face lawsuits to bring the game back(idk on how lawsuits work) plus, they've made so much money on this game that i dont think they would shut it down, i ponder what the future of this game will bring us
my favorite fortnite season ever… i discovered in that same era that my chronic disease could heal with peace and relaxation. i kept playing and by the end of the summer i was healed and now my life changed forever. this soundtrack will always have a special place in my mind
@@megustanlaspapasfritas what disease do you have, for me the answer has been seeing health profesionnals in nutrition and get my life structured, setting a todo list everyday and a lot of meditation and letting go all the stressful stuff such as social medias, i also played a lot on fortnite and made new friends tell me more
@@tgfdsgfgds4040 I will try to sum it up. I was born with the trachea attached to the esophagus, they operated me because i was gonna die, they "succed", and I was "fine". Well I wasn't because I was having symptomless heartburn, so from birth to 7 y/o was damaging my lungs with rising stomach acid. At 7 they managed to diagnose me with COPD. From the 7 to now my lungs continued to be damaged, I had an operation that made everything worse. Today I am at a very low weight thanks to that operation. The doctors say that I have to have a lung transplant as soon as I grow up and gain weight.
For me it was such a great season Just chillin with the boys playing the game and having fun We Never took a round really serious and just did our thing I really miss this…
I hope this stays on YT, because I will for sure come back to this chill music! Thanks a lot for the great event and the downtime-music! I had a lot of fun yesterday and now excited to play Chapter 3 Season 3! Thanks Epic!
@@xnexusacs i get whst you are trying to say but like with all tthose new features and with my favorite characters being indiana jones and darth vader being added just made it even better.
The music changes up at 18:40, 22:04, 28:25, 2:53:45, 3:03:50, 3:12:27, 3:22:30, 4:45:09, 6:01:33 6:21:59, 6:35:09, 6:44:15, 9:42:09 and at other spots. Likely every 6 to 25 minutes. The last 3 minutes was likely used for the music pack. This is a really nice livestream to put on when i need to work on something for a long period of time and want music on in the background.
Miss those days of coming home from school, getting the small amount of homework you had back then done and then hopping on Fortnite with all your friends or on the weekends fighting over who gets to be in the party and who doesn't, miss those days, the sounds, the look of the game even though it was worse quality was still better, miss the simplicity and the fun times 😪😓
Who woulda thought simple relaxing music from one of the most interesting games in history , provided such a meaning and calm tone and a sense of peace whenever life is hard . 🙏🏼🙏🏼
There are no drops, a drop is when the music starts to build suspense, slowing down, then ramping it up to the max, before then continuing. This is just a straight shot, lofi doesnt have drops, dark synth does, so can listen to that while getting your dose of synth
i liked the chill vibe of the season, it was a decent season but it was a little boring cuz of the lackluster summer event, tomorrow its gonna be the 1st anniversary of this season.
Started from getting your very first win, to wondering what that bright speck in the sky was, to a purple cube appearing in a tournament, to wondering what the hell the zero point was, then… nothing. Fortnite never fails to give me a great time.
Fax, I see Epic doing a lot of things better than other devs like not scamming it's players, making good updates, doing what people request and let them have an opinion on what they want on the game (voting stations), it's just incredible
The fact this was procedurally generated, and had a couple of notes from The End (Chapter 1)... it feels unreal (pun not intended). I can't belive music is evolving this much to the point where a system knows what is and was going on, present and past, to make the future.
They say "procedurally" but tbh it's kind of a stretch. The composers behind this playlist still had to create and produce variations for every instrument part. Then the Quartz system randomly plays different variations together, so that you'll never hear the same loop twice. Quartz also provides synchronisation for the visuals, which is neat
I love the lo-fi used in the change between seasons, actually im working and listening to it. Edit: Now i´m feeling so relaxed, and with the repetitive work i´m falling asleep
Its really Nostalgic to think that this story all came to the game so fast just Because A Blue thing in the sky appeared and changed everything in the game...
Honestly the storyline began to peak during C2 season 5 and mid season 6, but C3 season 3 is kinda when the peak story era ended. But with C5 I think it’s going to peak again soon
The lofi starts at 12:53 and the music changes up at 2:53:45, 3:03:50, 3:12:27, 3:22:30, 4:45:09, 6:01:33 6:21:59, 6:35:09, and at other spots. (The last 3 minutes was likely used for the music pack btw)
Just wish it ended up like this in game, Imagine AI generated lo-fi beats playing at this poi for 3 months! With light ups to each beat! Would have been so chill...
dude, i still can’t believe people just hate on fortnite.. this is just amazing and yes i am gonna sit here for 10 hours listening to this questioning my existence
Ive been playing to follow the storyline since the end of chap 1 season 4. Been a wild ride i look forward to more and yeah this playlist is getting saved lol
@@bootylickerr9000 i have been playing since season 3 chap 1... So i guess i am bored of the game, nd the skill it takes to even compete ina real players lobby is high, yes zero building is awesome and the only vailable way to play the game for me, but still it doesnt give me that charm anymore. So for now ima just stick with Apex until another live event comes out... Is matter of taste and opinion.
Thank you for this lovely vibe, its helping me stay calm which I preventing me from suffering from chest pain etc etc. I hope to hear more tunes like this from Fortnite. Much love and bless ✌️ 💜
This season was honestly one of my fav seasons I know I might sound insane but during that season that’s when I played with my friend a lot. I only had 3 friends at that time and 2 of them were fake except him, we played all the time everyday we hopped on, did quests, and played duos 24/7. But when chapter 3 season 4 came he was playing with other friends and they didn’t exactly like me or wanted to play with me. And then in at the end of chapter 4 season 1 we’ve barely been talking. So now I’m sticking to solos and I probably will do for a long long time.
I think that they added a roller coaster and a nice mushroom biome because there are two ways people vibe, it’s either being calm and enjoying nature or it’s having fun and partying.
Meteor back in season 4: "Destroys Dusty Depot and factories, leaves a crater 2x bigger than Tilted Towers" Giant Robot, that weights 80x more than meteor: "Leaves almost no mark on the ground"
And to think that this event had an actual Transformers fall of Cybertron reference. TF: FoC: Huge robot (thought deactivated) rose up behind Megatron (who turns into a tank) as he is monologueing, Soundwave notices and yells "Lord Megatron, Look out!" and then Megatron is crushed. Fortnite collision event: Huge mech (thought deactivated) rose its fist while slone (who is in a tank) is monologueing. Slone then says "any last words, Jones?" and is then crushed by the fist of the mech, and Jones then says "uhh... Look out?" THE SIMILARITIES ARE UNCANNY (also, the mech kinda looks like soundwave, but I'm sure it's unintentional)
