I been running the green v-trek for over a year for work and everyday wear,I do landscaping in Florida. I’ve now bought 2 more pairs of them for future wear.

The V2? I ordered the Ivy green V2’s today.. I’m not usually a green person but they caught my eye. Do you like the color? Seems like they won’t look dirty too easily.

About 5 minutes before this video came out I ordered a pair of v-train! I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying the v-trail isn’t very comfortable. I use them for general training, circuits, weights and my runs go to about 10k at most I always used the Merrell trail glove but they’ve stopped using the Vibram sole in the latest versions

Hello Chris how's you doing man? Merry Christmas 🎅 & a Happy new year to you & your family. That was a good review of the V - Track man. I am a barefooted 👣 person & I have been all of my life. I grow up being barefooted 👣 because I was born with big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶. Wide shoes was very very extremely hard to find footwear for me because of how wide my feet 🦶 are. I love wearing 5 fingers shoes because they are just like being barefooted 👣 & i love that feeling. I have so many pair of them like over 10 or more i really need to Count them to see how many pair i have. I am surprised that you are Allow to wear five finger shoes to work For delivering packages. Your job have not said anything to you about it? I think it awesome man that you wear your 5 fingers shoes to work man. I am a long distance Truck 🚛 driver & i own my truck 🚛 & i wear flip flops 🩴a lot of the times but i do wear my 5 fingers shoes too as well. I have a question? I am a lil chubby fat dude with big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. Do you think my toes would fit in the toes Pockets? My big toes is over 2" inches wide & the rest of my toes are over 1" inches wide. I have some very very chubby fat wide toes. You have mentioned something about The front of the toe pocket being really tight. I know that you don't have chubby fat wide toes like i do so it's not a problem for you but I want to get a pair of these because I want a new pair of 5 fingers shoes. I have issues with my original KSO's toe cap on the big toe, crunching down on my toenail on the big toe, and at one point before I stopped wearing them they gave me a bruise on the toenail. In examining the photos of the V-Trail, it looks like Vibram has reduced the profile of the toe cap on the big toe. I'm so close to pulling the trigger and getting them, but I'm worried about having the toenail issue. In every other way I really loved wearing the toe shoes. Also I would be wearing these shoes all day in the house, doing chores, running errands, and doing some yard work outside, is the tread so aggressive that they would be uncomfortable for just regular daily use? I don't think the reinforcement inside the toes will bother me since I wear toe socks. I love rugged shoes, that's why I'm opting for the V-Trail. And insist on my questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Neither of us has had any issues with the big toes, as long as you get the right size I think Vibram has figured it out. And I think these are super comfortable under foot, even with the aggressive tread I don't think that would be an issue for everyday use. I (Eric) don't like the lamination material between the toes, it feels restricting and my toes haven't taken to it. If you think that is going to be an issue I would look at the Spyridon, same outsole but a much more comfortable (especially between the toes) although probably less durable upper.

I came here looking for a rugged minimalist shoe and thought that I had find it until heard about blisters and not comfortable enough... What could be another rugged and comfortable option from Vibram??

This is definitely the most rugged. The next step down in my mind would be the Vtrek.

Spyridon Evo is also great. Same bottom as the v trail 2,but more sock like feeling with more room in the toes. Downside was that I adjust the fit with some additional elastic laces, but now it is my most comfortable trail shoe.

I don’t like that toe Vann they put around the toes. No I talked to somebody and they said that that was to make the shoe last longer because some people had the in between the toes wearing out. I didn’t have that problem. I wore mine for running over 400 miles And pretty rugged trails and but I prefer to have that next band that they put on there and when I’m flexing the shoe and trying to move I can really feel it against my toes. I don’t like it but really nice vibrant would make the original, but I said that with every running shoe when they change, have a good day

No. There's no insulation and no weather proofing of any kind.

@@9545887879 if you're going to wear wool socks and shoe covers then I think you could wear them! If you're not getting them wet and going the extra bit to keep your feet warm with wool socks go for it, you might need a bigger size to fit wool socks in, do you know of any good warm wool toe socks?? We'd be interested in that.

I run with my Kso Evos in the winter and have no problems. I wear vibram short socks, that's all. In the summer , no socks, just the shoes. So you shouldn't really feel cold in v-train/trek but i guess it depends on how sensitive you are.
