I found this very interesting even though I don't practice. I've yet to incorporate a metronome into my practice routine. But I of course see the value in doing it. The Soundbrenner looks like a great way to get started using one! Fantastic way of presenting the product! For me, it’s too loud for using live (acoustic solo gigs). Would otherwise be great for keeping time in „breaks“ in songs using drum pedals, in order to come back in with perfect timing. Or just for complex songs that otherwise throw me off a bit when singing, playing guitar and also harmonica solos. What a shame it has to buzz so loudly!

Will it allow us to copy your famous bass walk if we also wear this on left wrist while we play (1-2-3-5, 1-2-3-5, 1-2-3-5)? Can Bubuji wear this around her neck so she can take a walk in style and rhythm (highly recommended while synced to "Eye of the Tiger")? Can the BPM be set up to 323 (the greatest tempo in the musical universe)? Really, it can do all that? Sold. Shut the front door and take my wallet. Go Soundbrenner (SB)...BOOM! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🐕‍🦺🎹👊🙂👍 P.S. If it was just a "tap, tap, tap" instead of "zzt, zzt, zzt" I'd love it. As it stands, it's okay for practice, in a rehearsal, or if your music is always loud even for performance or recording. My issue is that in pianissimo passages or during rests the noise artifact is loud enough to be picked up by a mic, where it becomes a problem even at the shortest, quietest "zzt". I also find that noise to be both unmusical and irritating in quiet passages. The thing is, its ability to sync up to five Soundbrenners could make it ideal in place of a click track through IEMs in performance or recording. For much of the music that I play the SPL is not so high that musician hearing protection is an issue, so it would be an opportunity to introduce a 'silent metronome' function none is now used. Anyway, a cool idea with a problematic execution to my way of thinking. I have one but seldom use it. For practice, I don't mind a conventional metronome, or the vibrating smartphone app has much less of a noise artifact. The limitation of the app is there's no way that I know of to sync several together. I hope that some day Soundbrenner or a competitor will solve the noise artifact issue. That would become my go to metronome, instead of a pricey one that I seldom use.
