Here in this video I am playing the game. I do end up having a pretty good game and light the "Special when Lit" feature and also beat the game by High Score too.
A beautiful example. I'm 70, and used to go to Playland in Flint, Michigan in the early 70's. I can remember they had a lot of pins to play, and they were all EM's back then. I don't remember any specific games, but I must have played a few of these. By 1982, they were down to a dozen or so as the Pac Man type arcade machines took over. It seems to me, finally...that pinball is coming back. But I'm only interested in the EM's, and it's great to see collections of museum quality, well maintained machines like this. You have a lot of jewels in your basement.
Your story and comments are great to hear and I enjoyed reading them. Yes pinball is alive and well here in 2024 and only growing into the future. The EM’s might not be as popular as the newer pinball machines being manufactured, but hopefully will be around for many years to come. Thank you for sharing your personal connection to the EM games and your nice comments about EM collectors that have a passion to restore and preserve these wonderful Electrical and Mechanical machines.
I really enjoy these videos where you show a classic Gottlieb table in action. This one looks like a great player. Very lively with lots of action up top among the pop bumpers. My kind of game. Wonderful art design as well. Gottlieb's artists were masters of their craft. I get enjoyment from just looking at a Gottlieb EM playfield. The colors are spectacular.
