A lot of people exclusively love Vicetone's 2012 - 2013 stuff, and as a progressive house fan, I'm not trying to attack anybody. That said, to me, a lot of the first three minutes really sounded the same to me. Yeah, it's a great style, but it was pretty repetitive. If Vicetone kept up with this style these six years later, it would have _definitely_ become boring. True, not all of the new releases are ones I've loved, but the variation has been exciting and I think they've improved by technical standards. Just my thoughts.
Undeniable that 2012-2014 was their best stuff Not to say their slower, more poppier/tropical house stuff isn't good, but their older stuff hits harder and i much prefer the sound design and energy of that style
2018 Vicetone is the best Recommendations: 1. Dropgun (It's my favorite duo) 2. Armin Van Buuren (It's going to be a long video, because he started his music career from 1995) 3. Lucas & Steve (They got interesting style) 4. Bassjackers (One of my favorite producers) 5. Mesto (he started his career on the age of 16, and now he is 19) 6. Vini Vici (their psytrance is mystical) 7. Porter Robinson (One of the legendary producers) 8. Said The Sky (He creates beautiful melodies)
