Nice Vicki. I'm reminded of my mother in law, Joan Wile, who protested the war in Iraq every week in front of 30 Rock. For years, only missing 2 days because because of weather (hurricane Sandy), with her grannies against the war group. Sometimes there were 3 or 4 others. Sometimes, it was just her. In her 80's she was arrested for trying to enlist at the recruitment center in Times Square with a dozen other women in the 60's, and even 90's. On her death, the NYtimes honored her work with an obituary.
