But do you dump water out of nebulizer and base before you do the vinegar? I get that you dump the water from the tank. But you don't mention if I should be dumping water from base, cuz that's what I've been doing. Is it souped to be straight up vinegar running through the guts 😆??

can you remove the nozzle to clean it? I have looked at so many videos of how to's to clean humidifiers and most all of them you can remove the nozzle at the top but on the Vick's sweet dreams cool mist it doesn't say to that. I have crud all in mine and I need to clean it.

I am having the same issue as well. I can't figure out a way to clean the nozzle properly and there is so much mold(I think?) buildup now. Is there a solution for this, or is it a fault in the design?

Hello Mehmet. This humidifier was made for use in the United States on a 120v power source. Using this on a different power source, even with a converter, can damage the humidifier. Found a makeshift solution!! Drain totally. Fill bottom tray with vinegar so the bottom is covered. After it sits for a few minutes, take a Q-tip and rub the rubber and circle part on the bottom. Rinse with water. Wipe with wet Q-tip once it's drained, then restart humidifier! I've been able to do this many times now and avoid the noise it causes!!!
