I was a victim of a vicious sucker punch, and I am a black man in his middle years, 67 years of age. This occurred near the downtown Oakland Library at Lake Merritt. My heart goes out to this lady and her family. Any person who's psychotic, on drugs, recently released from prison with no prospects must be watched. Next door to me in the same at San Pablo and University a man was murdered. No media organization came to ask me about the murder although I was the only one home. Why not, you say? Corruption. Protecting the landlord, and defending his rights and entitlements as a "property" owner takes precedence. What else? The landlord from China, without the ability to speak English well enough for what he's doing, rents to people with felonies. Hence the true reason for the murder, aside from green obviously. I say all of this because I need help but can't get it. Innocent people are injured and MURDERED because we do not pay careful attention to crazy people out for money and those who don't care.

Why does it always happen to the good, kind, sincere, hard working and self-sacrificing ppl? And it had to end without her being able to finally relax and enjoy life..😢😔💐🙏

You don't know how violence America until you traveled to other countries. I traveled to Spain and Paris for three weeks and I did not witness any acts of violence during my trips. I did not witness anybody arguing with each other. Even though it was crowded in the metro stations in Spain and Paris, I didn't see anyone acting inappropriately. People in America act violently over very little things.
