Historian Victor Davis Hanson says Kamala Harris will be the most Left-wing US President in history, and the most dangerous. Hanson, from the Hoover Institution, said that Kamala Harris has hidden her socialist views during the election campaign, and that if she gets elected she will revert back to her open border, soft-on-crime, radical policies.

I'm always impressed with how articulate Victor Davis Hanson is - his broad range of knowledge, extensive vocabulary, logic, a subtle sense of humor, the ease with which he shares his views. Listening to him is like attending a masterclass in rhetorical art. And the most important thing is, of course, that what he says is compelling.

I don’t know why you are debating how suitable Harris is to be President. I was astonished how she fielded the questions put to her in the debate by not answering them with meandering irrelevant attempted rhetoric. That should tell you everything you need to know.

I think the debate also helped the public perception of Vance in an unfiltered way. The Harris-Walz campaign called Vance "weird" and the media picked up on that and ran with it. The debate laid to rest that Vance wasn't anything like that, that Harris-Walz along with the media, spent all their time demonizing Vance as something he was not.

How about that idea - let the states decide basic human rights like life itself. I thought we went past that during the 1800s and then in the 1960s concerning civil rights. Why did we not say those rights should have been left to the states? No. We had enough leadership to lead America the correct route. We don't have that type of leadership today.

I give Trump a 50/50 chance of winning. Because of what occurred in GA, NC and TN, where hurricane Helene did massive damage - disrupting lives, destroying property, and likely severley damaging the voting infrastructure or otherwise making it inaccessable - it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, for millions of Trump supporters to cast their ballots in those states.
