The Nigerian squad is not even among the top five squads. Its not balanced at all. We don’t have a midfield. So kudos to the coach for using the best out of the attack and defence. One thing people must know is that the tactics of the coach was clear and simple in this tournament which was to defend and then hit on the counter using long range passes. Osimhen was fantastic in this competition because he was starved of the ball. The defence was great. We need to scout for someone better than iwobi, chukweze has nothing to offer, zaidu has no end product. Finally we need a proper 10 even if na for street or monkey post he go still be better than than this iwobi guy.

It's not osimehns fault at all its the coaches .. so how can a coach depend solely on his defence when playing a host count on their ground u need to attack on the get go and not sit back how can u have a classy striker and not build ur midfield and wingers around him .. Iwobi was a complete flop can't pass ball into the middle successfully he doesn't have any sight for a final pass he is just a sideways passer I wish we had smo e like n NDIDI in midfield how about must with experience ?
