With this hand I will lift your sorrow, your cup will never be empty for I will be your wine! With this candle I will light your way into darkness, and with this ring I ask you to be mine!!
Thanks for giving me an idea... although I imagine just falling in slow mo off a cliff with a wedding dress on and watching my tears float in the air RIP
I remember watching this movie as a kid and thinking that I would never be able to play this. I can now confidently say that I know how to play this entire solo 😊
I'd say it is more likely main theme of "Moldau" by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana. Which main tune was definitely inspired by medieval song "La Mantovana". Check it yourself, it is definitely worth listening.
I want to say “with this hand I will lift your sorrow, your cup will never be empty for I will be your wine, with this candle I will light your way into darkness, and with this ring I ask you to be mine!” At my wedding and I will.
For some reason I have a deep connection to this song, every time this song comes on and when I listen to it I just feel really weird inside I don't know how to explain it, i feel like all music does this with me but this song I like I'm in a void, but it's a comfortable one that doesn't want me to go and it's just dark and edgy I like that about it, the movie too I love every single thing about this song.
my 6 month old daughter falls asleep to this. thank you for an hour long loop!! It helps her sleep longer. (She has sleep issues- wakes up at nap time every 5 min- for example)
Really like this piano solo a lot because I like the fact that it's deep, and some parts makes me feel melancholy, yet there's this feeling of hopefulness in the song as well, and a hint of eeriness just makes this song so memorable, nostalgic, and one of my all time favourites. Tim Burton movies are always truly inspiring, motivating and there's always a lesson to learn from it. It's unique music and creepy and sometimes quirky appearance of characters always makes me fall in love with his films time and time again. Thank you so much for this!
This song makes me imagine running in a flied of grass with a white or black dress while a full moon is out and spinning in circles while playing this song and then looking up at the stars while laying down on the grass. Sorry if this sounds weird.
It makes me imagine that I'm running away at night with a long flowing dress on a full moon and suddenly have sad flashbacks of my life and then I float out of my body not to the sky but to the land of the dead where I stay for years before coming out of the corpse finally going to heaven.
i tried listening to this when doing my homework and it's absolutely impossible... it's such a unique melody and i can't help but pay attention to it more than what i'm actually wokring on. i remember watching this movie when i was so young and i recently decided to watch it again, the piano solo completely surprised me and i'm surprised i didnt remember it. i'm gonna be listening to this for a while i can feel it, absolute beauty to my ears
On the night I get married, I'm taking my lover to the woods, in a flowy white dress that's not my wedding dress, and slow dance to this in silence with the stars twinkling in the sky and the tree's shading us from the moonlight ever so slightly
During ballet class this is the only song I can think of😊😊it's so beautiful and relaxing😊😊It helps me sleep even in my darkeist times😔🙁when I'm really upset I put this on and in about 2 minutes all my worries are gone😔❤thank you so much for making this I really appreciate it🙏❤
Every time I listen to this song it's like I'm hearing it for the first time. And every time I listen to this song I notice something about it I didn't before. Very few songs can do this. It's like a gift that keeps on giving 🖤
This makes me want to waltz alone in desolate ruins, under moonlight and light wind. It's curious how so many people feel a similar way about this beautiful melody. Why does it evoke the desire for isolation?
The underlying melody for much of the song sounds very much like a waltz. The echo between the notes gives a sense of a vast ballroom. The higher notes give a sense of dance and as the speed increases the intensity does as well, which evokes a sense of spinning under a starry night sky. I'd do it too and I'm a guy
Every time I hear this I feel that I have a lover from the other world who is waiting for me. She's so near but also so far. Trapped in between worlds. Makes me want to be alone in a dark room so that she can shower herself. I was a scaredy cat when I was a kid but now I feel like I'm more connected to the ghostly realms than humans. Maybe I'm just crazy or in a depression it's hard to explain. But I do feel loved and I love her too. With all my heart.
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.
This is one of my favorite movies ever and it doesn't get nearly enough credit. It's such a great film and Tim Burton is a legend himself. His films are just masterpieces and usually they make me cry lmao. So thanks for this

I used to imagine myself playing this in front of a huge crowd and getting a standing ovation afterwards. Now I can do that minus the huge crowd and standing ovation. 😅
A dead prince walks through the halls of his empty castle. He passes by the paintings of his family. His parents and him. He walks on, his footsteps completely silent. He sees a painting of him and his love. His boyfriend, the knight. He remembers the times they would dance together in the ballroom in secret. The laughs when one of them falls over. They were happy then. But he also remembers when they got caught kissing. His parents, the king and queen, sentenced the knight to execution the next morning. He watched his love die, and he could do nothing to stop it. Now, with his parents long dead, and his people left for destinations unknown, he is the king of no one. His body is no more, and he is but a spirit, a ghost, doomed to walk the halls of his kingdom forever. He turns his head away from his paintings and walks on.

To the people who disliked; in another world you would not have the freedom or reason to dislike. Whatever for you decide to do this, I shall never know. But I do wish you took into consideration the utter beauty it's made from. Imagine dancing across a starry sky, nobody but you and the bronze lights. Or running through a meadow towards the moon, a moisture trailing after. If you thought about how amazing it is such a thing exists to express such feelings, maybe you'd reconsider. Or, it's something I don't understand? For laughs, not liking the version, having a bad day... Perhaps you had an intergallatical experience and know this song is the devil itself. That, or you just. Don't. Like. It. Maybe Im just petty. But with this unknown element at play, I'll never know who despised this music enough to dislike, but coward enough to leave it at that and not voice reasoning. Let it drift down a bit, no reason at hand. Just silently poke a hole and leave. I wish i knew so you didn't give me such a grunge against those I dont understand. Like many YT videos, songs, skits, etc... I feel that there's distain in opinions in 👍👎 form... Aside from full comments. Like tiny anchors they leave nothing but poison in your mouth, and only those who chose 👎 understand. Why such a thing exist if never.... Justified. I suppose I'll never know.

I usually open this song when i am studying, its voice is low in the background it motivates and relaxes me and i can more concentrate to my lessons, thanks for this masterpiece :)
I’m hearing this music rn because of how sad I feel rn because of how I lost all of my online friends in Discord and Roblox and ever since I did that mistake I’ve felt so lonely and sad but this kind of makes me feel happy and it’s beautiful music.
