A lot of people resent her, but she is charming, funny,talented and enjoys taking the piss out of herself, which I think much of the media choose to misinterpret as it provides a weapon against someone happy and successful, two cardinal sins in the world we seem to live in.
Its funny that whenever any other designer does something minimal, the uneducated masses automatically compare it to Celine. Good job VB, beautiful collection.
JLO But it’s obvious VB copied Phoebe Philo! Look at those silhouettes. Even the aesthetic and mood this show screams “almost” Céline. haha VB even copied Phoebe’s style. When Phoebe made stan smiths, trousers and turtleneck combo cool and chic, Victoria in no time copied the look. I’m not hating on VB. But it’s obvious she’s a Phoebe Philo fan. VB seems to like the minimalist style and Phoebe does it so well. That probably explains why her brand is heavily influenced by Céline. I mean who would not like Phoebe and Céline?
What I do like are some of the beautiful textiles used, particularly the trousers with the front slits, however, surely you would be treading on the fabric? Many of the styles look easy comfortable wear! That’s good in my opinion, Most of us like Look good but feel comfortable too.
OMG people! The collection is a pre-tenth anniversary retrospective and her goodbye to New York Fashion Week. Her next collection (for her actual 10th anniversary) will be this September, at London Fashion Week..
This collection was minimalism at its worst. Those bags might make it as the next Balenciaga imitation version. Overal, the collection looked so cheap.

I adore Victoria as a fashion icon but her seasons have gone from dull to duller. Her lines and designs are too simple... there's nothing new. I wish she would wow her fans like she had first debuted.
