'I shall never forget'
I can't believe I finally finished a Vicbourne video. First time I tried this was right after s1 finished and I didn't like the result. I haven't vidded them after until I started a new project after episode 3...I started 3 more and didn't like either, mostly because it took me too much, but then I realised this is what I wanted, to show their story step by step. I know she married Albert, but I've always been an Victoria/Lord M shipper. I don't hate on Vicbert, but they are not Vicbourne. I mean, look at them. In this video I wanted to show how both of them helped each other 'continue', they both thought they were alone, but found happiness together, even if their love was not fulfilled, and you know why already. He was protective, and always by her side and she realised she loved him so much, it doesn't matter that she was young and he loved her even after he married Albert.I know they are not canon, but I don't care.
Note:part 2 will be made,most likely after s2. I really wanted to upload this, though...couldn't wait, but I will wait until then to talk about Lord M, otherwise this will be too long...:(

My heart is broken, and without reservation, I wanted these two to get together so desperately. Lord Melbourne has stolen my heart as well as the Queen’s. I am still watching the series because I am invested in the story, but it is not the same. I didn’t care if the story went against history, I wanted to see these two go with their hearts. Since there was no burial, can’t we bring Lord Melbourne back, even if it is just a forbidden affair?

I feel the same way. I don't think I'll ever be over how their situation ended, regardless of history. I too would have wanted a different ending, that even until season 2 I hoped for something to change, but you know, hoping without hoping, cause I knew it wasn't gonna happen. I continued with s2 and it's very interesting, but not the same. I hated how there wasn't any burial, but they gave Albert's father one? That no one liked?? It was horribly done. I don't think he'll come back, I think they made it clear he died...unfortunately...Not sure if it helps, but there is also part two of this (I made a video of s2 and I sort tried to bring him justice in the end and added a burial scene). Anyway, thank you for commenting and know that I share your thoughts.

Love this couple 😍. Its kinda bittersweet. You can see that they love each other yet you know they will never be together. We don't even need physical evidence. You can see it in the way they look at each other. Lovely and sad.

B Sam.13 I agree completely. Their story is bitersweet and quite tragic. I also think there isn't need for physical evidence, the way they look at each other is enough. Still, I wish something happened, but history is history. Not even fanfiction can help. Thanks for watching. :D

I've had a somewhat similar relationship that Victoria and Melbourne had with my college professor. He is also old enough to be my father, a kindred spirit to me, someone I look up to as my dad, someone I share the same values with, who understands me (despite my tendencies to be misunderstood) and sees my potential and encourages me but I must admit I get a little giddy and happy (especially when we're sharing a laugh about something) whenever I talk to him that I usually only feel with a crush. We often talk outside class hours but not about school stuffs and more on random things about life so he naturally became my mentor cause he generously gives whatever wisdom he has. He has certainly been more than just a teacher in my life but a pillar of strength and source of inspiration.

I know what feels like since I have a similar relationship with a college professor. As your professor, he is also old enough to be my father and we have a close relationship. I consider him my kindred spirit in many aspects since we have shared many thoughts and moments. It could be interpreted as a childish infatuation but he is a pillar of strength as well as a source of inspiration in my life. He helped me to overcome the fear and he has always believed in me even when I did not do it. I even shared him some of my intimate fears and he supported in all of them. Although our paths are currently going to be separated, he will always mean so much for me. The first time I watched Victoria series I saw my relationship with my college professor reflected in the one that Victoria and Melbourne had. Maybe not everyone understands this until a certain moment in our lives we find people like Melbourne or our professors and they have a strong impact on us.

Well sorry ladies but college professors are fairly famous for wowing young women students... Generally, being married doesn't stop them. Nope. They love the adulation they get from youngsters who don't know them as well as their wives do.

It’s 2024 now, and I’m still watching it. It was soooooooo heartbreaking when they said goodbye in season 2😭 literally cried my eyes out💔 I always replayed episodes 1-5 of season 1, the chemistry between them was just so sweet🥹 What a beautiful video, thanks for bring the memories back❤

We keep hoping Lord M didn't die, but if he did, why no burial? Last we saw, his eyes were still open! Now he hardly gets mentioned. So sad!

I know what you mean. I am still bitter over the fact they gave him no burial scene, it almost like they wanted to get rid of his story line. I think it was made clear that he died, but as you said, he deserved another episode...This is why I made a 'fan made' burials scene in part 2, if you want to see, but I don't know if it helps...

I just finished season1 an hour ago and I already miss this two. I wanted them so badly to be together. The way they look at each other screamed desire and affection, love, even. I don't know what happened after episode 3 or say 4? They can't just dismissed Lord M like that :(( I heard he was in season 2 but before I proceed I looked up for some Fanfics to fill the void Lord M left me and to save it for later.. By the way thank you so much for this wonderful edit I love it

I wanted them together as well. I am still sad over them, even though I knew how it would end. He died after ep 3...it was clear, but what bothered me the most, apart from his death which still makes me bitter, was the way they did it. No burial, nothing, like he didn't matter for Victoria?? I mean she did visited him, but it felt rushed nevertheless. Thank you for enjoying the video and commenting! :D

All your points are true except that 1.yes, he us 40 or 50?, but who cares and 5.I dont think he still loves his wife so much he wouldn't be with Victoria, he clearly fell in love with her, but they couldn't be because he was a prime minister and she a queen. That's the only reason. But yeah, you are right in the end no one is stopping us. When I started reading your comment I thought you would be one of those people trying to shoove historical arguments to not shipping them but I am glad you were not 😊

I feel the same. Maybe I would have liked her with Albert too but I didn't like his portrayal and didn't 'feel' them like I did with Vicbourne. I tried, but I could not do it. History is history but when it comes to this show my heart remains with Victoria and Lord M.

I think so too. He was so selfless all the way through. He knew they could never be so he let her go, depsite of what he felt. He had to break her heart (when she confessed), later on he watched her fall in love with someone else, but was glad that she was happy.

To me this is the opposite of love on his behalf. This is not only torture - worse, a reasoned, self-aware torture set as fire from him and thrown at her. She is the one who can love. Not him. Absolute agony.

I've always enjoyed Rufus' acting career. He is worthy of being knighted as "Sir". Would be a fantastic and well deserved honour for services to arts & culture. He is just so lovely. I also enjoyed Albert (Tom) but if I have to choose, I found Victoria and Albert in Young Victoria and Paul Bettany as Lord Melbourne fascinating. Mark Strong was pivotal. Laurence Fox was good too in the tv version.

Creo que Lord M estaba enamorado de Victoria, come ella de el, pero no fui posible. Para Lord M era sufciente si Victoria ella feliz. Para mi fue una scena triste. La verdad que nunca me gusto Albert (en la serie). Trate pero no.

i hate it when she switch right away from lord m to albrite one ep she confess her feeling and say she love lord m and that Scene make me sad and invested in them and liked them together ... but in the second ep she feel for albert ? i mean i kinda know but give it some time you can't do this to the audience And you expect them to love the main couple

Yeah, it was kind of rushed no matter the history. And the show just wasn't the same (in my opinion, but I know it's it just me) after Lord M died.

Am i the only one who doesn’t really like Vicbourne? Okay, he is charming and she was very infatuated and I think he was her first love but not the ONE LOVE of her life, which was Albert. When she got married she told Lord M he was “almost right” that almost was because she would never forget what she had felt for him It doesn’t mean she still loved him (she kept loving him just as a very much dear friend, maybe best friend too, but not as a lover). You can see that when he turnes back to see her she is so excited And runs to her Albert. Also, i don’t understand all the people who say her scenes with Albert are forced And she doesn’t seem to be in love with him. I mean, What?! She is just obsessed with him, she always thinks of him, she is sooo in love. She said more than once she would die if he died or something bad happened to him. She told him he was her only love. She was jealous when he was talking to lady Lovelace, she always looked for him when he was not “home”, she just madly loved him and That is What Jenna said in an interview as well. I don’t hate Lord M, he was just amazing, but i don’t agree with you guys when you say he was her true love. I think he was her first love but Albert was her true love, even with their diferences and fights that could happen even if she married lord m

I loved Lord M in season one but he became a bit rude after Victoria and Albert got together and especially in season 2, like he purposefully made Victoria jealous of Lady Lovelace

I can't really blame him. He was hurt and kinda wanted to step away while Victoria wanted him by her side but in a friendly manner. That's not easy. Then again, he also said a lot of things in favour of Albert as well. But yes, purposelly making Victoria jealous is not among those. Maybe you would like to watch the second part of this (link in the pinned comment)
